Is this an appropriate place to discuss further troubleshooting? I'm having some problems after following all the steps. "The method or operation is not implemented." is what I get for attempting to start hotspot to Local Area Connection with a wired connection to a netbook. CMD line was successful, required programs installed...

Might I ask what comes up when you type (in CMD):
Code: 
netsh wlan show drivers
There should be a line which reads:
Code: 
Hosted Network Supported | Yes/No
 
Having trouble with Instacheck. No matter what I do or try, I cannot get my 3DS to use the hotspot to connect to the internet. I can FIND the hotspot in my connections, and I can connect to the hotspot ITSELF, but it cannot use it to go any further. All I get are errors. I've been trying to fix this for hours to no avail. I've tried going through VirtualRouter as well as through CMD, but nothing works. I'm on a laptop and using a wifi connection, and I select the connection I'm supposed to use. I don't know what else to do.

My laptop has only one wifi adapter and runs both its connection to my router aswell as the virtual one for instacheck fine.
 
Hello i'm new to smogon and i was wondering if someone could tell me when is the Mac version going to be released, also if someone could help me find out my TSV that would be really awesome.

Have you tried disabling/enabling the Instacheck connection or allowing it through the firewall of your computer/identifying it's connection.

Do you have a USB dongle?

Please tell me what errors you get.

That's a problem with your system not the program. It's disabling/closing it probably because it's not allowed through the firewall or corrupted(files).

If it would help the Mac OS X version supposedly in the works come out sooner, let's get this guy on the team! :D
