At level 50, Relaxed Tangela has 72 Speed with 31 Speed IV. With 0 Speed IV it has 58. As tangrowth is has, 63 and 49, respectively. Tangela doesn't get Gyro Ball, so the only reason for 0 Speed would be to "out speed" other monsters in trick room. Since Tangela doesn't get trick room, the likely hood of this even mattering to anyone is very low, but I just haven't happened to find any six flawless tangela. I personally think 72 Speed is slow enough for Tangela, and Hidden Power ice can be used on enemy Grass monsters who are immune to leech seed, Dragon monsters and Flying monsters, all for super effective damage.

At level 50, Relaxed Tangela has 72 Speed with 31 Speed IV. With 0 Speed IV it has 58. As tangrowth is has, 63 and 49, respectively. Tangela doesn't get Gyro Ball, so the only reason for 0 Speed would be to "out speed" other monsters in trick room. Since Tangela doesn't get trick room, the likely hood of this even mattering to anyone is very low, but I just haven't happened to find any six flawless tangela. I personally think 72 Speed is slow enough for Tangela, and Hidden Power ice can be used on enemy Grass monsters who are immune to leech seed, Dragon monsters and Flying monsters, all for super effective damage.
