The set-up I use for Jirachi intentionally invokes that. Body Slam for paralysis, and Iron Head/Zen Headbutt for flinching. (With Serene Grace raising the chance of their secondary effects to 60%) Otherwise I only got one crit with Swampert and paralysis only really hurt the other player once or twice. (aside from the speed loss of course)

ok, so you're using a hax based set, don't act surprised when people get pissed
 
He got lucky, particularly on Hippo's para, but the opponent was being a douche for no reason. A lot of people become total idiots when it comes to the luck aspect of the game. It's common for people to say things like "STOP HAXING" and take out their frustrations on the opponent when the player has absolutely no control over the hydro miss or para or whatever other luck aspect we're dealing with. Or if he fires off 3 hydro pumps and misses one, he gets to berate me for being the luckiest bastard alive, and if all 3 hit, I get to berate him for OMGHAXing me.

Yeah, we all get frustrated when we get 4 Focus Misses in a row and Ferro ends up getting full hazards, but no need to be a complete dick to our opponents, who have absolutely no control over it.

Also, it's a well known fact that Jirachi gets flinches 100% of the time. It's not luck, it's just Jirachi!

Hey guys. I used to be a lurker, but since I just finished a game where my opponent was running his mouth and calling me a noob while running a defensive team revolving around Regenerator, I decided to sign up to share the replay. It was obvious that he was unhappy to see his walls crumbling against a +3 Thundurus-Therian that he idiotically allowed to set up in front of his Chansey.

I love the way how he said that 'sucker punch never kills slowbro and psychic always ohko'. Nobody uses slowbro in ou and nobody runs psychic on it.
