What is a good set/nature for a more physically based venusaur? I see Power Whip and Earthquake being relatively popular and I'm wondering when they are used. Is it used for slow and bulky venusaurs (curse or just generally bulky EV spread), slow and mixed attacker (trick room), fast and mixed attackers, purely physical sets ? I'm leaning more towards (relatively) fast and mixed megavenusaur, but I'm not sure.

Gratz, seems everyone but me can hatch good shinies.
EQ and Power whip are 2 moves you use yes, but you do need a 3rd attacking move to avoid being walled by Skarmory/Flying types in general. Quite a few of the physical based sets run mixed with sludge bomb, power whip/giga drain and EQ

lol i can't even hatch a regular shiny to begin with, i went through a 1000 eggs of just a regular charmander trying to get it shiny but then i just gave up, but that was a few months ago when i didn't know about ivs....
I could use a Modest Male, Overgrow is fine IV's don't matter much.
Seems we're in the same boat, only finding random shinies with no way to controll iv's, nature, ability or egg moves
If it makes you feel better, my first Gen 6 Shiny was a 31/x/x/31/31/31 Torrent Froakie after 7,956 eggs :l

yep, well i guess all my bad luck for shiny hunting is trying to even out my extremly good luck where i got a shiny rayquaza with only 100 soft resets

Congrats! I just hatched a shiny HA Chimchar about an hour ago, 31/31/31/31/31/x (nearly released it too, I don't watch the hatch animation so I was unaware of it lol), today must be a good day for us.
