could someone explain shiny values to me or link my to an XY shiny breeding guide?
When the TSV and Egg's SV matches you get a shiny pokemon. With third party equipment you can check these numbers and find people with a TSV that matches your Egg's SV and ask them to hatch your Egg, giving you a shiny Pokemon. Before we had Instantchecker, but this software no longer functions (as of now), but there are other ways to acquire these numbers.
