I'm using Mega Kanghaskhan and Meowstic as my leads. After having Safeguard in place on Turn 1, on Turn 2, with Mega Kang already mega-evolved, Mega Kang ALWAYS Sucker Punches before Meowstic Swaggers him. I have made sure that my Meowstic is faster than my Kang, with +12 Speed EVs and Bold Nature (217), while my Kang has no Speed invested and is Adamant nature (216). It works just fine on my game cartridge. Does anyone know why this is?

Why Mewtwo's Psystrike is banned on "2014 APRIL FRIENDLY"? Its supossed it learn it at 100 Lv on XY
The ban says:
"Your team was rejected for the following reasons: Mewtwo can't learn Psystrike because it's only obtainable from a previous generation".
Daaaaaa Mewtwo learn it from any generation at Lv100 including XY generation :P

Is there a way to use 2D animated sprites in XY battles (and retain battle animations)?
Currently checking the 'disable animations' button reverts to 2D sprites but you lose battle animations and the sprites are static.

Hey guys I've been playing showdown for a while now and I first registered with the user name 'US'. Now I want to create a new account with another user name but every time I try to choose a new name, it keeps telling me to enter the password.I haven't registered with the new name yet so which password am I supposed to enter?I've also tried entering the password from my previous account but it keeps showing 'Wrong password'. Can someone tell me how I can start a new account?
If you want to create a new account, you do /nick [username], if it is asking for a password it means that someone has already registered that name, therefore you can't have that name/account.
You know you are successful when getting a new account because it doesn't ask for a password, it just automatically gives you the name and you then register it afterwards.

Adamant Mega Kangaskhan has 236 Speed at level 100 with no investment - remember that its Speed stat changes when it Mega Evolves. Your Meowstic also has a very low Speed IV for it to be hitting 217 anyway (1 Speed to be exact) with your EV investment - Meowstic will normally outrun your Mega Kangaskhan with no need to invest if both run a 31 Speed IV.
When Zoroark uses Illusion, does it have the same speed and stats as the mon its immitating? Or nah? Also, how come no one on my team can take a Boomburst from Exploud. Is it a exclusive move to Exploud?
Illusion doesn't affect the Zoroark's stats/type/moves in anyway. I'm not to sure what your second question is? Boomburst can be learnt by Exploud, Noivern, Chatot and Swellow so no it isn't an exclusive move and Specs Boomburst tends to hit hard due towards STAB + 140 power on Boomburst, not to mention Exploud has Scrappy so it hits ghost types as well, also Sound-based so it hits through Subtitute. I think the main downfall of Exploud is the speed, not to mention being frail with 63 in both its' Special Defense and Defense but yeah... hope I helped!
Why isnt that moster OU then 0_o That Boomburst thing is incredible with scarf I would imagine
Currently in the UU Viability this Pokemon is only working at a B- Rank, as I said probably due towards its Speed and lack of Defenses, take into account this thing was NU last tier, I think its main bump up was the Boomburst itself but surely that isn't enough to raise it up a tier. Also Scarf + 68 Speed still isn't too fast for some of the threats running around in UU. It is true that it can be hard to get a switch in. Maybe try Aggron.

Take into account that is Specs instead of Scarf, if you Mega by the way it only makes it harder...

Hey guys, just a question about team builder (I'm playing online, as I have problems downloading/installing the PS client atm).
Is there any way to copy and paste a team you've made, just so that you don't have to go through, inputting each and every value every single time you want to make a new team with a slight adjustment?
Or can you simply save a specific poke with a specific setup (DDTar, whatever), so you can drop them into any new team setup whenever?

Press "Import/Export" and it gives you text. You can copy and paste this into the teambuilder and it gives you the pokemon.
There isnt a Monotype forum, the closest you have is the OM forum but there's a Monotype Room on Pokemon showdown!
