Simple Questions/Requests - Mark 37 (Minor Pokemon Trades, Item Requests etc GO HERE) (NO HACKING)

There should honestly be a thread for "What Pokeball should this Pokemon go in", since it seems like that's all people are posting lately.
It would serve pretty much the same role as the now defunct "Discuss my Pokemon" thread (DMP for short) and I'm sure that in time such a thread would meet the very same fate.

I'd support that.

I want a tentacool some day, tho all the trade threads have the wrong natures or egg moves!

If you don't mind non-kalos born I can give you this free if I can still find it...

Still, there's posts at least 2-3 times a page with people asking what ball x pokemon should go in, and it's getting to be quite repetitive. If people are posting about it this frequently, I'd argue that it deserves it's own thread. I come to this thread to answer meaningful questions about the game, and make trade requests with people, not to discuss for the umpteenth time which ball is best for Chandelure.

I like both, but would like opinions first :]
fast ball for sure!! ;)

me too someone told me every trainer has its own STV (Shiny Trade Value) can someone help use cause we dont know how to do this.... anyone?
Every game has its own Shiny Value, meaning:
Every egg has a shiny value (a 4 digit number) that is preset when receiving the egg. If your Trainer Shiny Value (also a 4 digit number) matches the egg's shiny value, then the pokemon in the egg will be shiny once it hatches.
If you know an egg's shiny value, you can search on reddit or smogon or any other lists and see if there are other people who have a matching shiny value to your egg. If you then send them the egg and they hatch it for you, the pokemon that hatches will be shiny.
You can find out your TSV and your ESVs with the use of powersave + keysav/massdumper (if you have a physical cartridge) or keysav alone if you have a digital copy. Keybv is also used to find this out.
If you want to find out your TSV, all you need to do it trade over a pokemon you caught yourself to somebody who can help you, or you can try and do it yourself :)

Thanks for the offer but I avoid having RNG'd pokes.

Either way it's the wrong nature, ability, and egg moves.

Ok..so..since I'm not totally sure..I would like for someone to tell me what my number is. If they don't mind..U.U and, is the number for all pokes? or just that one?

Won't you need to purchase the power save for this to work for you? Or some type of external device?

I can help you find out your own TSV if you want? Or if you have a few eggs that you know are good, I can check some for you :)
If you need me to find out your TSV, add me and trade me a pokemon you have hatched or caught in your game.
