Yes, but I wouldn't use that moveset

In VGC, are Salamences usually mixed attackers or just plain special?

For VGC the standard and arguably best Salamence set is Scarf + Timid with Intimidate.

It runs Draco Meteor, Fire Blast, Stone Edge (even with the detrimental nature, since it still nails Charizard-Y and Talonflame) and then your choice of Dragon Pulse, Sleep Talk...

• Ability: Defiant (If Inner Focus, I can give it Capsule)
• Egg Moves: Sucker Punch, Pursuit
• Tutor Moves: Knock Off
• Gender/Ball: Doesn't matter

If you offer me a clone version of it, I'm ok with that. Willing to part with my legends for it, even shiny ones if that interests you. Or something else that I may have possibly.

I use Jolly but I'm sure Adamant works. I use roost on my non mega scizor with life Orb, and it works fine. I run a revenge scizor, with roost U-turn pursuit and bullet punch

Why run Jolly on a non choiced scarf? Isn's his base speed like 65? And yeaa i'm liking the idea of roost on scizor, just don't know if I should swap choice band for the life orb
