Oh by all means no. They are great :D specially for me and many others who no longer/never had 4th gen games.
I'd call them none standard ball females or something like that...
I value them highly, in fact I traded heavy ball heracross and heavy ball machop off you :D

They are still useful as many people don't have access to those balls ;)
If you would like them to be more useful, breed egg moves onto them or some IVs, and then call them spitbacks ;)

As of gen 6, egg moves pass down via both mother and father
Well, there's something that I didn't know until just now. hehehe.
No wonder why the others keep asking me about the females having egg moves and techniques for the babies learn from breeding. ^^;

What's a good ball for
?
I was just wondering...I see so many threads here with SO many awesome and epic Pokemon. How on Earth do you get started? I don't really have any good Pokemon to trade (I restarted my game a while ago), so I don't have much to trade. And most people seem to want shiny 5iv's for shiny 5iv's and stuff like that. So I'm just wondering if there are any tips or anything to get started with trading for the really good competitive Pokemon? Or do you just basically get lucky and go from there?
Its best to learn RNG or start self breeding shinies in 6th gen.
Be patient and willing to help others and you'll get there :)
Very few of the awesome guys/gal here just "got lucky". They all put in the effort.
Not sure you'd catch the guy below me though, his RNG'd the freakin' Pokedex...
Obtain some stuff in giveaways, clone them and trade them for more. In the mean time, learn how to breed on 6th gen, and you might want to learn how to RNG abuse on both 4th and 5th gen. That's how I did it. :) And look at my thread now, 3,5 years later. ;) You can do that too!
Well, I can't speak for the people who just get all that stuff by trading... I still don't know how they do it. xD
As for me, I learned to RNG a long time ago, and just got all the epic stuff that I wanted by myself. ;)
