why did diego simeone rage at varane?

Apparently it was this:

Tbh I don't think it's a reason to react like he did.

Good job Leyton Orient, 2-0 up after 40 minutes in the League One play-off final. Look to be ending a 32-year gap from the last time they were in the championship.

that went well

Hey I live near Rotherham so that's cool as well.

I'd also like to give my commiserations and express my shock at the relegation os Hibernian from the SPL, I never thought a side as solid as Hibs would go down. They should be back before long, and grats to Hamilton!

(i'm going to make a point of recapping lesser-known footballing stories from lower/less known leagues in the UK)

Given how Hibs picked up less points then Hearts, it isn't THAT surprising.... if you get rid of the -15 points Hearts would have finished on 38, wish would have made the playoff place VERY interesting on the last day.

Pochettino is the new Spurs manager.

Really happy about this, real quality manager who's proven himself at Southampton. The summer starts now!

Also really happy about that, one of the better up and coming managers, and someone who i think we already have a set of people in place that can mesh reasonably with his preferred system. Be interesting to see what he does in the transfer market though, because theres so much thought of blowing up al ot of last summers transfers, and that would give him a lot of money to build the team he wants

I hope he does two things:
1. Find a system for Eriksen and Lamela.
2. Get rid of Adebayor.
_____
Bayern have already started the summer well in extending Pizarro's contract for another year.

Edit: Sapientia Yeah Benatia would be a great deal for Bayern. Good on the ball, very rarely has he been caught out of position and good in the air. would cost a lot for them to get him but when Bayern have their eye on the #1 target the will spend that extra bit of cash to get their player.

Not entirely convinced by Ranocchia as of yet but could end up surprising me by having an good world cup.

hey adebayor was our best striker this year :p

seriously though what needs to happen is signing a competent striker... i have no problem with adebayor being a depth option though

-Isn't he out of a contract? Spurs should just lets him leave and lets be honest he will leave at the news of any other club offering even a penny better than what spurs will offer.
I don't know what to make of Harry cane.

-Yaya Toure agent is terrible. This will probably play out like Bale last summer.

-If you think Tottenham's management is poor then you need to have a look at Milan. Milan were poor this season under allegri and decide to sack him. Fine. Most clubs would appoint an interim manager and make moves on the person they want to take over. In this chase Milan wants Inzaghi to take over. 1 thing you don't do is get a replacement like Seedorf and agree to signing a 2 and 1/2 year contract. Now they want to get rid of Seedorf and replace him with Inzaghi and are going to have to pay out the rest of the contract. The best thing about this is that Milan have done well with seedorf in charge and pushed for a Europa league place.

and van Buyten will leave, which means we will most likely sign a new centre back. Even if Martínez will be a CB, we have only Dante, Boateng and Badstuber with a huge questionmark.
So prolly someone like Benatia or Ranocchia might come

Well it already looks pretty good, I don't think that Bayern need to buy a world class centerback (they only need a substitute tbh). It won't change anything as long as Guardiola doesn't improve his defending tactics, especially in regard to set pieces.

Benatia seems likely to go to City it seems. He really does not look like the guy to stick around. OM, Udinese, Roma in just a few years.

Chelsea are looking to re sign Tiago, I don't mind signing him if Mikel leaves. Although I would much rather have someone like McEachran or Chalobah fill the squad role spot.
We have also been looking at Pogba. Don't know how true it is but a Pivot between Pogba and Matic would be amazing. If not Pogba, then I'd very much like Koke or Rakitic.

It's funny how all real madrid supporters blame only guardiola :-D

It's true that our set-pieces are both - defensly and offensly - horrible. Nonetheless three and a half players on two positions are not very much and should be able to afford a world class CB as we don't need to do much in the summer. lewandowski comes for free and a right back might be awesome, maybe a central midfielder in case kroos leaves

ModestGarchomp I don't think Colombia would beat Brazil but if someone can it definitely is Germany. I expect Brazil to go through against Germany in my prediction but it won't be easy for them. If Germany would meet Argentina I think Germany would tear them apart.
