Thanks I got it now anyway. Reddit has an interface that confuses me so searching it is hard as is for me. But now I can start helping people again, and hopefully get some help in return.

So yesterday I SRd a 2,3/24,25/26,27/31/31/31 Mild Vivillon. I released it though in search of a better one. Should I have any regrets?
Nope, you can do better. +Speed nature (timid, preferably), is the way to go.
yeah 31 iv in speed and satk . You could just focus sash lead it lol .
Hmm, while it did have some awesome ivs, the hp kinda hurt it, so I can see why you would. Did you just release it, or did you trade it? Cause some people would love that one even with the bad HP IV.
Oh I meant I Soft Resetted again to try to get better. Sad though, the odds of 3 31 IVs(which are in fact 31s and not estimates) are around the same as MMing a shiny.
3 31 IVs with the wrong nature is not as good as a lesser IV'd pokemon with a better nature. For example, using the Pokemon Showdown damage calculator, we see that a 31 IV mild vivi with full investment will reach a max speed of 277, where a timid vivi with full EV investment but an IV as low as 7 will outspeed it. And with a base speed of 89, vivi needs all the speed it can get, even at +1 (thanks to quiver dance).
I stand by my logic: you were right to toss that one, and you'll find a better vivi. I save myself the heartache of knowing just how the good the IVs of the wrong-natured vivis are by only checking the ones with the nature I want (timid).
We don't know if it will even be possible to ever RNG in X/Y
need a dratini dragonair or dragonite with multiscale. I have a ton of pokemon so if you have a request let me know. If you happen to have a spare multiscaled poke i would be super grateful
In that same vein..why waste time iv breeding and sv hunting? When we can rng we'll be able to do it much quicker

So this is a lot to ask but I'm on the hunt for a usable version of one of the Kanto trio, either Unova trio, a Lati twin or Johto bird. I don't have much to offer in truth but I can maybe try and breed something in BW, put a tutor move on it and bring it XY.
I've got a load of things that I've bred or captured with good IVs in BW already, I'm sure they'd make decent breeding stock. I also have quite a few DW females. I'd pretty much be willing to give up any number of them for these guys.
Like I said, it's a huge amount to ask but I have to try. This community is awesome and I've already benefited from amazing generosity.

I have both Unova trios, can you actually breed 5IV stuff in B/W? Or do you have a HA Alomomola?
