[READ ME] Tips for Simple Hack Checks

I don't know if the Shiny Jirachi is region locked or language locked, so I'll put it here, if anyone can check it for me, since everything fits, and I don't know if there was enough time for powersaving it

I don't think it's a wild stab in the dark to say this is hacked. The spread is flawless and considering you have to SR for it, no synchronizer, it seems highly unlikely that a flawless one such as this would have surfaced so early after the event has only been out for a couple days (actually, wait, it was received on the day of release).

I'm also fairly certain the Shiny Jirachi from the Tanabata Festival cannot have an English name either. Esemeya said here on the last page.

It has to be this "ジラーチ" to be legal, I'm fairly certain.

Well, I got a 4 IVs Modest Fancy Vivillon in five hours (I'm still trying to get a flawless one), and it's without the certain 3 IVs. It's not that impossible to have it. And I was informed that the Powersave for Jirachi hasn't been released yet. My only doubt is about the name. I have another one that's Japanese sassy but with 3 IVs only, but the only thing I don't know is if the name comes in English if you are playing an Japanese game in English. I know you can't change the name, so a person can't put the name in English. Too bad I have no-one in Japan to check this out.

Powersaves isn't the only thing that can create an event Pokemon anymore. At any rate there is no Wondercard on Powersaves as of yet for Jirachi and for that reason I'll wager it's a product of Cyber Gadget, just like the HP Fire Jirachi. I'll ask anyway though, all these shady events are sort of annoying.

The chances of someone in JPN claiming it in ENG/ENG Cart + 3DS is extremely slim and I would try to check the file itself if it wasn't 0100 here [lol].

How come it has nothing to do? The person is Japanese and went to the place and got the Jirachi in both his games, one in Japanese and the other in English. And you can see the Wonder Card and the name of the Pokémon are in English in his Japanese version in English.

It CAN be edited, but it's possible to get a 6 IVs perfect with enough patience. Moreover, I don't really care if it's edited or not. My only worry was if it was possible to legally obtain it with the name in English.

Don't ask if you don't care if the Jirachi is legal or illegal then. Ask in SQSR if it's possible to get Japanese events in English.

Currently, no local event in Generation VI has been region locked. For Pokémon distributions that can be of either gender, the Pokémon's gender is fixed when the Wonder Card is obtained.

I don't know why you come here then, any IV spread is legal in Kalos except for Undiscovered Egg group pokemon who need min. 3 max ivs

Because, as I stated, I needed to know if it was possible for a Pokémon in a Japanese event to come with English name. I found out it is, so my only worry was over.

Okay, this stupidity in this thread is getting really irritating. I haven't been around much since I've been busy working/sleeping/annoying Esmeya, but unless you have a valid question about whether something is hacked, please don't post. Don't ask about your own Pokemon, since you should know the answer (and if you do ask about your own Pokemon, that tends to lead people to the conclusion that you're trying to figure out if your hacks are legal).

tl;dr Don't post unless you actually want something checked.
