Salamence can use another attack after the choice specs have been knocked off.
 
Will Scarf'd Azelf get OHKOed by Weavile's pursuit when it uses U-turn?

Is a message displayed when your opponent uses a type-resist berry? If not, Bronzong+fire resist berry could be fun.
 
You see the berry message before the attack connects/hits. Bronzong+Occa berry is still handy, though, especially if they attempt to bring in a counter.
 
Not sure where I should have posted this, so I decided to post it here.

Okay, so i'm playing Diamond. Would this team be good to challenge Heatran?

LV9 Abra (Synchronize)
LV18 Bibarel (HM slave, can't get to Stark Mountain without it)
LV50 Kyogre (rain weakens Heatran's Fire moves, and may paralyze with Thunder)
LV50 Gyarados (Intimidate, takes advantage of rain and resists both of Heatran's attack types with high Sp Def, albeit completely un-EV trained. For that purpose, maybe I could trade my Level 71 Gyarados from Pearl; the one with incredible DVs that I caught back in June)
LV62 Infernape (Rock Climb...just because?)

I'm thinking I should put in a last Pokemon like my LV62 Azelf or maybe LV72 Giratina, but the first isn't so good at taking hits and the latter has Pressure. Advice?
 
Is it possible to have a Lucario with both Blaze Kick and Crunch, or can that only be done on Shoddy? (if it can be done then how would you go about doing it.)
 
Is there any trainers in diamond that have a bulbasaur/charmander/squirtle or any evolutions so I can get a sighting (and then search for one on GTS)? If so do you know which trainers and where to find them?

almost the same stats as my 31/30/31/x/14/31 gyarados, and I would never use it competatively. I would use that as a parent.

I'm pretty sure there aren't. You'd just have to either transfer from Fire Red/Leaf Green yourself or trade with a friend.
 
Anyone ever experiment or use Sandstorm/trick room teams? It looks good on paper, but I'm not sure whether or not I should bother to train one if it ends up being crap. I used a Sandstorm team and it's pretty good. Any suggestions?

If you search something like "Sandroom" in the RMT forums here you'll find a couple of teams likes that. If people bother to make those teams, there must be something good about them.
