right, this is a tricky one

Brave #488 Cresselia: 26 - 27 / 20 - 21 / 31 / 22 - 23 / 24 - 25 / 16 - 17

is it acceptable to have a BRAVE cresselia with defensive EVs of 26/31/24??

i'm tiring of SRing when theres no synchronise assitance..... this would of been unquestionable if it was calm bold or modest

The boosts you get from a + Nature is more worth it. It's pretty much the equivalent of 50 IVs on a neutral nature or something like that, so yeah.

For an Azumarill with 404 HP, would a difference in Defense between ~180 to ~190 [10 IVs] be a lot [for incoming attacks like a Gyarados Waterfall]?

My Wifi team has a HUGE gyarados weakness. I think i only have two possibilities to somehow "solve" this problem in addition to my torterra's stone edge (which is not a proper counter i agree).

I can either replace WoW for Thunderbolt on my Gengar. You'll notice that my ghost hasn't maxed satk evs (reducing TB's damage), as it was first supposed to be a double statuser and a non-scarfed-Gengars counter.

Timid Gengar @ black sludge
HP108/satk150/spd252
-Shadow ball
-Focus Blast
-Hypnosis
-Will o Wisp > Thunderbolt?

Or I can replace Brick Break for rock slide on my Bulk up Poliwrath.

Adamant Poliwrath @ leftovers
HP122/atk252/spd136 (speed is higher than standards because my ivs are weird)
-Waterfall
-Brick Break > Rock slide?
-Bulk Up
-Substitute

I'm pretty new to competitive battling, so i have no idea what matchups i should calculate on dmg calculators (regarding gyara's evs mostly).

I blindly think that rock slide poliwrath sounds pretty good, but maybe the lower accuracy or the loss of stab brick break can't be afforded, i'm really stuck here >_<
Anyway, just a little explanation of the loss of my only burn status, or only physical stab combat move would be very appreciated.
Not a quick question though, but i can't make a topic out of this.

The Gengar would be alright with TBolt, but it really does need them extra EVs.

Can anyone tell me the IVs and EVs for Jibaku's Jirachi and Plust's Chansey?

Lv. 41 Jirachi - #385 (Impish) 31/27/31/18/25/31
EV's: 252HP/ 124Def/ 136Spd
-Zen Headbutt
-U-turn
-Reflect
-Wish
OT: WISHMKR, 20043

I don't know if all of them are EVed the same way, this is just the one I have.

And Plust's Chansey. No EVs. Other versions might have EVs however.

Chansey - 29/30/31/31/31/30
Bold - Natural Cure

The thing is Gengar can't really switch into Gyarados without suffering massive damage. That is why I would suggest the use of Rock Slide on Poliwrath as that is as close you can come to countering Gyarados without replacing a poke.

Speed last?

Ok so i bred a leet mudkip without hydro pump.. And only mudkip learns hydro pump at like lvl 40 something.
So i can just make it hold everstone and level it up right? and then it'll just evolve into marshtop after i take off everstone and the next level a swampert right?
If i do this, It won't mess it up it any way or fashion, will it? :X

Correct, when you evolve has no effect on the final result. EV train it for the first part, and then rare candy the rest of the way to lv. 40. If you aren't holding an everstone, you can still cancel the evolution by pressing 'B' when the sprites start flashing.

So that means that there is already a Beta version of it out?

No. Not Yet. I think he meant that there will not be a "final" tier list until after Competitor comes out and played a bit. At that point usage on a Pokemon to Pokemon basis will be much easier to determine. The problem with Tiers now is (imo) that tiers represent usage. Right now, its almost impossible to obtain, say, a fantastic Azelf, and therefore will not be used as much as if it was easy to get a fantastic one. Once Competitor is out, everyone can use every Pokemon (with good stats), and true usage will be know, and from that, Tiers will be formed.
