I was incredibly happy with 7th gen 'mons design... until now. The hug bear looks like a random mascotte for some kind of kids merchandise, and the ghost is the most uninspired thing ever... I mean, ghosts have tons of potential inspirations for cool designs, and what we get is a damn pikachu muppet? Yeah ok, disguise and all, but I really don't care. Zoroark disguise itself too and isn't a freaking pikachu. Hope the bear will evolve into something cooler, and for the ghost to have "different costumes" at least. Happy for new typings and moves of course, but for the first time this gen I'm pretty disappointed by the designs.
 
Hmmmm, I don't really like the bear, I think if it was Fairy/Fighting I'd find it a bit more ok because of the pink and the "cute" headband shape ears.
The ghost can be cool if we see its real form if it evolves.
 
Kiteguruma. Ability: Fluffy (もふもふ)

Sighs, even Flareon or Furfrou is fluffier than this... thing. The blank expression is unnerving instead. But yeah, there's no ability called fluffy yet.
 
Unfortunately this doesn't confirm or discomfort the leak. However they do not show gym leaders yet, so it could support the leak being real.
 
Plot twist: The leaks that disregard Gym Leaders are real, hence the absence of these otherwise plot-relevant characters. During XY, we at least had Viola revealed, while BW showcased Lenora and Cilan, if I recall correctly.

Let's see what Pokenchi airs this Sunday.
Though it's more likely to be a recap of these 2 Pokemon.
 
The ghost looks awesome. It's way too close to Pikachu to be a Pikaclone, it's probably a specific Pikachu form. There must be (please) other adorably creepy forms (pleaaaase), making both the design and concept brilliant.

About the bear... Well... I'm trying to find them any excuse for that look... hum... Hey look it will have a strong atk stat!

I didn't follow PokeJungle much, but Cresselia mentioned fairy bear was leaked by them.

Now I will pray even more to Arceus that my majestic mermaid idol is real....


Also, maybe it is me being an occult maniac, but Mimikkiyu's design warmed quickly for me. I just hope it has a cool evolution. It's not that good, but it has great potential and I hope GF won't waste it.
 
I don't get why everyone is hating on the bear - I actually don't mind it all that much. If anything, I'm happy that GF is going for simplicity this time instead of overdesigning everything. HOWEVER...

I am seriously hyped for Mimikkyu. First, we finally have a Ghost/Fairy Pokemon. (Still hoping that Mismagius gets retyped, though that probably won't happen) Second, we finally have a Fairy that's not a cutemon. Third, I am in love with the concept of a Pokemon that disguises itself because it hates sunlight. My only hope is that we'll be able to see its true form, without the disguise. (Then again, we have Diglett, Forretress, Shellder...)
 
Ooh, I'm really intrigued about the Ghost! Mostly because we can't know for sure if it'll have evolution(s) or new forms a la Rotom (obvs hoping for the former), and the ability of course! I love the typing, though, and I'm really hoping it won't go to waste on it.

I need to know what the new abilities do, tho.

Anyways, Mimikkiyu is said to have ability called Ghost leather/pelt, or Disguise in English. I'm guessing this can either be around forme-changing, Zorua's Illusion, or Ditto, and affects its battle style. I have fear that this will be its gimmick and it is doomed to not have any evolution or in anyway has poor porformance... I hope not....

Yup. Reminds me of Banette. Oh well, at least the dex entry is legitimately quite scary.　Or so they say anyway....

It's design is actually kind of imposing if you ignore all the pretty rainbows, and the ability to make people immortal sounds terrifying to me, so I still think it's intimidating.
