Lol whydon is doing much better than say someone like Aubisio in that at least he's willing to put a vote down no matter how flawed it might be.

Aubisio is just here doing one liners about nothing in particular. Er.

I don't really understand why Empoof is giving up instead of fighting for a different lynch. That's not a very town sort of attitude in my eyes (especially given how sudden it was). There was plenty of time to convince me to move my vote or even address what I said. Agreeing that your play was scummy is a very suboptimal move to me.
 
Only lynch I saw worth fighting for was Haruno at the time. Shubaka is a decent lynch but if he flips town it's worse than lynching me (from an outside perspective). This could be flawed opinion but it's the one I have
 
So...is Empoof trying to orchestrate their own mislynch? Is their some weird NOC martyr status that I don't know about?

I'm definitely leaning towards scum for Empoof right now, but I'm still confused because I'm having trouble pinpointing their motive. I didn't expect them, or anyone for that matter, too make a case for their own lynching. There's a part of me that's wondering if this is all some elaborate scheme to get us to realize they're town.

Still, if it really is an attempt to us to think they're town, it didn't work, and they could try to redeem themself, but they aren't.

Honestly gave up on trying to "look town" so I'm doing what I can before a rightful D1 lynch
 
In terms of scumreading, my two main ones are:
Whydon - I didn't really like the early vote seconding and with the most recent, I'm not getting a great townvibe on them.
Empoof - While Whydon is probably my personal pick for 'most likely to be mafia' Empoof's reactions seem to me like a shady town, but still someone who could be town.

I also gut read Shubaka as town but can't really find any concrete reason why other than the playstyle seems different from the BPV game.

Ultimately my personal vote would be on Empoof but in respect to Twin's #326 post, I'm not lynching (yet).
 
okay I missed all sorts of stuff, I got notified of the tag but not of the posts prior, gotta read up. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, this is 100% something I'd like to weigh in on

My top 3 (in no particular order here):
Empoof, I think I have stated why enough
Sandshrewz, assuming he actually made the spreadsheet, that almost certainly clears him as town for me. If he did not make the spreadsheet then why would he say something about one. Seems like a weird story to lie about
Mithril, gut read, combined with his unlynch to avoid majority in post #340
 
okay so the empoof wagon seems like one of two things. either 1) townie gives up and makes one too many scummy plays. resigns, scum hops on the wagon, or 2) scum gives up self as easy bus, tries to spread the blame around to cause dissent, spent too much time on self and not enough time on actual reads. either way, I'm guessing there's a heavy scum presence on this wagon. still a little confused on the pairing of me and haruno, but c'est la vie. I personally won't hop on, since we can still get some stout discussion from the day, and because I'd rather see who else wants to get on the "guaranteed" lynch. Initial feelings are that DLE is part of this, but that's one of those feelings that's either So Right or So Wrong.

unvote king and sit on that lynch for now, nothing is concrete enough to prompt a new one yet

It's not the fact that people thought they lied about the spreadsheet, it's that the spreadsheet in question had nothing of value to offer. Sandshrewz should have spent that time forming opinions. There's no need to summarize the thread.

I honestly have no idea why you are so obsessed with this spreadsheet. I would imagine most people in the game have notes somewhere, whether its a spreadsheet or not. It's just a really odd thing to focus on. Couple that with the unwillingness to make any scum reads and you are definitely on my radar as potential mafia.
