Putting up a fight in Potrel Castle - History Room

"Thank you for joining us on today's Battle Tour of Potrel's very own castle, home to our new queen, the nymph Cenelea. Our first stop will be the History Room, showcasing the history of the first line of Potrel, the matriarchy of the Cipoler... a sad era it was"
The butler opens the majestic double doors, and leads you and your partner to the brilliantly lit room. Across the reddish-pink walls, various murals and signs, some in a language you understand and some in odd hieroglyphics, split into fifteen sectors by five symbols on grounded icons. In the middle of the room is a small fountain, but other than this, the main portion of the room has no notable features. Some of the sigils have some sort of aesthetic in their section, however.
"There have been eleven archetypes that have mattered in Potrel's history. Each one has its own sigil in this room, which we have enhanced for the Battle Tour to grant powers to the Pokemon you fight with depending on which mural they choose. The murals depict events regarding heroes of those archetypes, while the signs describe the murals. We apologize for the words in Potrelen but there has been significant opposition to updating them to English on the basis of the writings' historical significance.
A Pokemon can choose a sigil whenever they would be able to toggle a Toggle Ability. Sigils can be reselected(allowing the change of any ability from the sigil that is chosen on selection) whenever they would be able to be chosen, eve
The sigil of the Matriarch depicts the first queen of the first line of Potrel, the rebellious warrior Glopote. It is plain and simple, with nothing there but ten portraits- one for each of the ten queens of the first line. The Potrelen writing below each portrait is simply their name. Beloved Cenelea has declined to put her picture there, to put that violent part of our history behind us.
Only females may gain the power of this sigil, which grants its bearer the effects of Queenly Majesty, +1 BAP to all moves, and +2 HP at the end of each action. Additionally, upon selection of this sigil, you may select one move- Pokemon other than Matriarchs attempting to use that move will fail.
The sigil of the Slave depicts a slave from the old era- when all men were lower than the lowest woman. I can't say I'm disappointed about Cenelea's conquest because of that. On the wall is one mural, depicting the palace keep where the men who were slaves to the queen were held, along with a sign with a short history of Potrelen slavery.
Only males may gain the power of this sigil, which grants its bearer the effects of the item Focus Sash, but the BAP reduction is increased to 3. This does stack if the Pokemon actually holds the item. Additionally, on selection, the Slave may choose two moves and learn them until it selects a new sigil.
The sigil of the Rebel depicts a swordsmistress in a fighting stance, meant to depict each and every war Potrel has had to fight- from escaping Golodda to the first rebellion led by Glopote, who founded the city. Three sets of murals, with corresponding signs in both English and Potrelen explaining the event, are meant to represent Glopote's Rebellion, the Goloddan War, and the Ytrian Creation.
Pokemon of either gender may gain the power of this sigil, which grants its bearer the effects of any two of the following abilities: Iron Fist, Adaptability, Tough Claws, Sheer Force, Strong Jaw, Analytic, Reckless, Technician, Steelworker. Additionally, moves that are not affected by any of the selected abilities gain 1 BAP.
The sigil of the Magus depicts a sorceress casting a spell, meant to represent the truly powerful Potrel has had, short of its queens. Interestingly, no Magus short of the queen has ever owned a slave, as far as is recorded. The mural on the wall is just every powerful sorceress Potrel has had written records of, along with Mrápl, the lone male wizard to achieve freedom and a place in society.
Pokemon of either gender may gain the power of this sigil, which grants the bearer to consume its item, granting it double the item's effects for the next 3 actions, as well as the ability Magician. If a RageCandyBar or Berserk Gene is attempted to be consumed, it will act as normal but give twice the effect. If any other consumable is consumed this way, it acts as normal but with double the effect(including number of uses, so for example Chople Berry reduces a Fighting-type move by two stages, and is treated as an effect on the Pokemon(and thusly fades upon switching) rather than an item. Consumables consumed via this ability have no duration on this effect; it lasts until switching out or running out of uses
The sigil of the Natural depicts a druidess, lying at rest. This is meant to celebrate those special few in Potrel who have achieved an actual commune with nature. On the wall is a painting of the cat, labelled with a list, in Potrelen, of all known druidesses to have existed.
Pokemon of either gender may gain the power of this sigil, which grants the user a Surge ability of choice(Psychic/Grassy/Electric/Misty Surge), causes it to gain the benefits of terrain even if it isn't grounded, learns the Terrain move corresponding to the chosen Surge ability, and prevents any weather or terrain set by the Pokemon from being changed for 1r after being set.
The sigil of the Twins depicts two twin sisters playing together. It is simply meant to celebrate the joy that they must have felt back then... well, the females, anyway. The males.. thank Chaos Cenelea came. The wall is plastered with a huge number of pictures of children playing, captured by magic and put onto the walls.
Pokemon of either gender may gain the power of this sigil, which grants the user Parental Bond and causes all incoming moves to have their BAP multiplied by .75 when used against it.
The sigil of the Aristocrat depicts Rápl, the woman who had finally begun to get any traction for any sort of equality. She was shot and executed quickly, of course, but Cenelea chose to place her here as a reminder of modernization of times. Nothing is on the wall for this sigil, likely because Cenelea couldn't be bothered to.
Pokemon of either gender may gain the power of this sigil, which upon selection allows the user to pick three other sigils to negate the effects of. Unless two or more Pokemon have a negated sigil, the Aristocrat takes 2 less damage from all attacks, even those that deal fixed damage.
The sigil of the Commoner depicts a random village woman our last queen, Zupote, took a liking to for no apparent reason, and bore who should have been the next queen with her. Of course, before that could happen, Cenelea came in and slaughtered them all, saving me and all the rest. The mural on the wall is simply a painting of her village, with the English list being the results of the last census before Cenelea's takeover.
Pokemon of either gender may gain the power of this sigil, which grants the abilities Wimp Out and Disguise, as well as causing the Commoner to take two less damage and deal one less damage with all attacks, except those that deal fixed damage.
The sigil of Death is a gruesome reminder, left behind as a relic from the old era. It simply shows a skull, accompanied by a gruesome painting depicting the death of Zupote. This is not the message that that era intended, but I say all hail the new way!
Only males may use the sigil of Death, which grants +5 damage on all attacks. This is raised to +8 on combos.
The sigil of the Soldier depicts a female archer and is meant to represent the strongest of Potrel. Behind them is a magically captured picture of a significant portion of the Potrel army, with lists and lists naming every member in service at the time of the death of Zupote in Potrelen. She was indeed the first queen to not truly be proud of the strength of their arms...
Only females may use the sigil of the Soldier, which grants +2 damage on all outgoing attacks and -3 damage on all incoming attacks. These are adjusted to +3 and -5 on combinations, respectively.
The sigil of Chaos is the only sign in this room to prove the existence of Cenelea. It has no icon, often, as is now, and the mural usually depicts her. I don't like looking in that direction... I don't like knowing what doesn't make sense that is going on there. Ah well, I have to, and it is worth it. As much as I would really really really really love to avoid it.
Pokemon of either gender may gain the power of this sigil, which gives the Pokemon the effects of the ability Serene Grace, reduces the number of attacks called from by moves that randomly select other moves by 1(except Metronome, which is reduced by 4), causes all paralysis to begin at 25%, changes the minimum freeze duration to 1a(50% 1a, 50% 2a), and gives the Pokemon the effect of the item King's Rock."
Matriarch(F) - One move chosen upon selection(becomes unusable by non-Matriarchs), Queenly Majesty, +1 BAP to all, +2 HP/action
Slave(M) - learn two moves upon selection, effects of Focus Sash(but 3 BAP)
Rebel - gain any two of the following abilities: Iron Fist, Adaptability, Tough Claws, Sheer Force, Strong Jaw, Analytic, Reckless, Technician, Steelworker. moves unaffected by chosen abilities gain +1 BAP
Magus - Magician + weird item consumption mechanic(scroll up and read it)
Natural - Surge ability of choice, gains benefits of terrain even if not grounded, learns corresponding Terrain move, terrain/weather set by Pokemon always lasts for the round of use regardless of other mons' usage
Twins - Parental Bond, all incoming moves gain spread penalty(even if single target)
Aristocrat - 2 less damage from attacks, 3 sigils chosen upon selection have no effect
Commoner - Wimp Out, Disguise, 2 less damage incoming, 1 less damage outgoing
Death (M) - +5 damage, +8 on combos
Soldier (F) - +2 outgoing/-3 incoming, +3/-5 on combos
Chaos - bunch of RNG things, scroll up and read it

This mountainous area may be inhabited by mischievous Pokémon who can suddenly turn the area dark to cause trouble.
Populated largely by Dark- and Ghost-type Pokemon, Darkness Ridge lies upon the mountain range to the east of Pokemon Square. With a vast area of mountaintops ranging from flat to undulating, the terrain is suitable for battling, and there is plenty of room for movement both along the ground and through the open sky. Pokemon's ghastly will-o-wisps light the arena most of the time, tinging the ground an ominous purple hue, but more importantly providing enough visibility for normal battles to occur. Whilst there is no water source of any description here, the Pokemon travel a short distance to a central stream through one of the range's many valleys to drink and meet Pokemon from elsewhere in the mountains. You and your Pokemon, however, are forbidden from travelling from the arena to the stream. Assorted piles of rocks of all sizes litter the ridge, and various types of vegetation, both live and dead, are scattered around the arena's outskirts. Seismic activity is permitted too, albeit with a little bit of disapproval from the local Vulpix and Ninetales.
The ridge's inhabitants, however, are a playful bunch, and will consistently cause some chaos for any foreigners to the region, rescue teams and battlers alike. For rescue teams, they darken the area to leave the other Pokemon in suspense and fear, yet are ultimately harmful. For battlers, they enjoy disrupting the normal flow of battle. Before the first round, and between each subsequent round, the will-o-wisps illuminating the arena disappear, causing the whole area to become pitch black. They do not want to disrupt the battling itself, so they re-illuminate the arena before each round. In order to make the battle more evenly footed, however, they will interrupt the battle if one battler tries to order before the other, forcing trainers to order simultaneously each round, after their Pokemon and their opponent's Pokemon have been revealed. They may be mischievous, but they value a good battle, so they won't affect the battle in any way apart from plunging the arena into complete darkness at regular intervals.
Effects:
Simultaneous blind sendout Round 1, and simultaneous blind switch in each subsequent round, before orders. Self-switching and switch-forcing moves have these effects removed, but other effects such as damage will remain
Simultaneous blind orders in every round
Encore is banned from use, and will cause the user to Struggle if ordered
Codifications:
No external water source
Arena is poorly lit, causing Morning Sun, Moonlight, and Synthesis to recover 15HP each use
Camouflage makes the user a Dark-type
Secret Power can flinch
Nature Power calls Rock Slide
