there's a difference between finishing catchup later and refusing to do it at all

I'm not giving a reads list rn. that's not my style. I've given a lynchpool and that's all you'll get.

And your lynchpool is...?

All I saw from skimming your posts is "Hitmonleet is scum" and "Moody is town". I saw you made a lynchpool early (like Page 7) but I don't know if your keeping that lynchpool in specific. Would you like to clarify what your lynchpool is?

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>but i'm just a bored townie

Smh, are you questioning my boredness
Also why are you guys not nice to me especially you Josh forcing me to literally find you scumpool instead of just blatantly saying it right now...
Tbh I'd like to see Blazeade, Ullar, and Da Letter El to talk as I didn't really have a read on them while I was reading and I feel like them talking could probably allow me to read them somewhat better.

Also, where is pancake on the Voting History spreadsheet I thought he was in the game

I get a strong initial impression is Asek is Town. Asek being scum implies that Jalmont would bus on D1.

I agree. Looking through Jalmont's interactions, I saw that his early Asek lynch + actual explanation on the RVS lynch further states my town read on Asek.
I also feel like the other person who he interacted hard with was Texas Cloverleaf. And while scum can do early, subtle lynches to try to throw off town (like what Jalmont did with Texas), I don't think it was the case there. Would you agree KnightsofCydonia?

Texas caught my attention at first with a suspicious statement, but it was explained and my read on him has progressively moved upward since then.

If you could tell me your opinion on how to resolve the d1 wagons and mainly Ullar's/King's/Your alignment I'd find that more interesting than you telling me how Asek is towny tbh

I can't clear myself, so you'd have to flip me. Still not sure where I stand on Ullar, so I haven't moved my sl read. King's moved to null.

As I was running reads, the "if not King, then Asek" conditional stated by Shubaka and Haruno caught my attention. I think I should try rereading King with fresh eyes tomorrow, but I'd have to weigh it against Shub's flip.

knights has been super analytic today, i like it so far and wouldn't lynch ^^

Personally, I still think you're scummy.

Yes, yes, I know I had a list of things for me to do, but screw you guys, I can do what I want! (Also, this was on my list anyways).

JOSH ISO:

Bunch of joke posts, nothing important to look at.

I can't tell if he was being serious here or a joke. Either way, it was literally just a quote and a statement, he didn't even point out why he thought that. This is a long trend in his posts, and it's part of why I suspect him: It's a lot of small, lacking posts. To be fair, there is the whole "5 posts or force-sub" thing, but it doesn't exactly excuse empty posts.

Next is a bunch of short posts lobbying for shubaka to get lynched:

What?

Once again, lots of short, empty posts. Nothing much to say here, since there isn't really anything to look at.

I'm guessing this was referring to FH, actually? I'm going to presume it was, which is odd, considering he suddenly jumps the shubaka lynch, using a simple reason as someone being annoying. He didn't change his vote here, which doesn't make it as bad tho.

Shubaka, did you mean? This is where they suddenly flip back to their original belief, but then, after mentioning our previois interactions in response to my vote on him, we have this:

This has me a bit confused, but it ties things together pretty well. It strikes me as just conflicted so far, trying to decide who to lynch though.

...I'm honestly regretting doing all of this rn, especially on the phone.

Screw it, I'll do the rest later.

Basically, to sum things up, Josh, while I really don't like how he's empoof-like in his posting, is, after further scrutiny, actually thinking logical ideas, although I wish he'd espouse them more.

Anyways, going to talk about Asek's questions with a seperate post, get ready:

Hitmonleet is another story. This ISO literally looks like a half-assed attempt to fake an SR on a townie, all he does is comment on the length of josh's posts at first, zilch about the content. After that it's just commentary, yawn. This has me thinkin' he's been staring at josh's posts wondering what the fuck do i write lol. While josh hasn't the done the best job of explaining things I literally can't see how Hitmonleet manages to SR him the most over the other targets.

hwg Lynch Hitmonleet

Asek's post here.

Anyways, one by one, we have these topics:
  • Asek
Asek has currently been playing very well, which is either a good thing or a bad thing. I'm personally leaning towards the former, since s/he's actively provoking discussion, making reads, and providing reasoning, which maf commonly seems to either forget or do a shoddy job of providing, ime. A very good example of this is one of the later posts he made on D1:

I'm liking how this is, because he actually continuing on with his points, and using evidence, even, like s/he's writing an essay. Generally, the actual logic is solid as well, which bodes towny to me.

Overall, Asek is probably one of my biggest townreads atm, and I'm highly confident with it.

If I may, I'd like to ask you a few questions as well Asek
  • Have your thoughts on King changed at all over the course of this day? If so, why?
  • Same thing, but with FH instead.
  • In the above post, you mentioned how FH was white-knighting for King. Does this now strike you as:
    • Town protecting a fellow town member?
    • Misguided town attempting to protect scum?
    • Scum attempting to pocket an easy in to Town?
    • Scum defending their teammate?
    • None of the above?
  • Given your choice, right now, who would you want to lynch, and why?
Anyways, another post for Hawkie thoughts coming up soon:

this one is somehow worse. Reading through the tone is very suck upish, i mean the first line is literally compliment.

"I'm personally leaning towards the former, since s/he's actively provoking discussion, making reads, and providing reasoning, which maf commonly seems to either forget or do a shoddy job of providing, ime."

this in particular has me fukin shook. This is literally the textbook description of any good player, not an assessment of how Asek has been playing themselves.

AND IF YOU NOTICE ---------> "providing reasoning, which maf commonly seems to either forget or do a shoddy job of providing, ime."

holy actual mother of mafiascum what the fuck is this LINE LOOK AT HIS LAST POST. HIS LAST POST IS LITERALLY A POST TRYING TO PROVIDE REASONING ON JOSH WHICH HE DOES A SHODDY JOB OF PROVIDING

AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF HE LITERALLY TYPO'S TO IME

IME

Was reading the lynches, and so far there are four people who have been voted a lynch (King_, Shubaka17, Knights, and Hitmonleet) so I decided to read back to get a read on everyone.

Starting with King_, I think I pointed out his repeated filler and agressiveness. Much of his posts so far from what I can see are targeted towards Josh and Shubaka17, and this could have been planned by King as an easy target so he himself did not get lynched and could live another day. On the other hand, a townie would be inclined to try to live as well, but the fact most of his posts are targeted towards Shubaka17 seems a little bit sketchy. Like I said in my earlier read post, Leaning Scum.

Secondly, my read on shubaka17. So far, he has not posted like at all in day 2, which is a bit disappointing as I looked through his activity log and saw him post in many other mafia games. This could be the behavior of a defeated Mafia, or it could just be the behavior of a bored townie (like me :P). Anyway, the fact he hasn't posted gives me No Read on him.

Thirdly, my read on KnightsofCydonia. From what I saw, his posts have been very informative from what I see, and he says things like "I can't clear myself, so you'd have to flip me." which frankly makes him more townie to me because I feel like he is looking at the view of any player playing in this game aside from him. And an additional note, he leans town to me more than many others. Why is being read/lynched? I'd like an explanation from anyone who has KOC in their scumpool. Leaning Town.

And lastly, my read on Hitmonleet. Honestly, you should open your profile up to everyone, as I can't even go back to see all your original posts which makes my read on you quite unconfident. In the latest read post of yours, you talk about Josh and how he has a bunch of one-liners and sketchy interactions. You say "Personally, I still think you're scummy.", yet you didn't lynch Josh. Why is that? Also, I'm looking forward to "a post for Hawkie's thoughts", as it will be interesting to see your reaction since Hawkie has lynched you. With just one post, I lean Hitmonleet a little towards scum, but I'd like to have a better read, so I'm now kindy asking for someone who has been watching this game who can tell me what other scummy/townie things Hitmonleet has done. Leaning Scum-ish but unconfident of current. [Also, in case you didn't see my first sentence, please open up your profile so I can see your other posts thanks]

Of course, they aren't the only people I'm thinking about lynching, but its a start as I subbed in the middle of the day. Thinking about lynching King_ rn to put him at L-3 (I think?) but I'd like to see more posts from everyone.

Tagging Host to tell me when deadline is (forgot who Host is lel).
