i saw that but i interpreted them as different points

you approached it from nl benefits mafia bc no flip = worse scumhunting but i actually dont think thats true

if a wagon is town v town the mafia NEVER want a tie bc they need mislynches to win. if the village lynches 4 mafia d1-4 the game just ends and the mafia can never win. so i think they actually benefit more from forcing mislynch wagons.

fort has a somewhat different take on it, to me
 
Asek I understand where you're coming from but I think Texas is town for reasons I won't disclose rn.

do you have an opinion on my suggested lynchpool today (id/yeti with a lw addendum if he doesn't actually post)

what reasons could one possibly have in an NOC that can't be disclosed? some special method of reading people?
I guess it really isn't important since texas is still in the list of "people see him as scum" and he's not about to be lynched, but that still is a huge convo-stopper.

"Oh I have evidence but I can't disclose it." doesn't leave much room for discussion.


Again though, this doesn't really become important until either he's close to being seen as lockTown or he's close to being lynched.

I made the statement, to which empoof asked a question, to which you responded with a tentative explanation, after which I checked smogon and responded to clarify.

I'm 99.8999999999% sure that my statement came first
 
another couple thoughts on texas

someone else called this out earlier but texas claimed i am "too dangerous" to keep alive if im mafia. either hes throwing some Big Shade onto the likes of josh poof asek and anyone else who might consider themselves good at the game by saying they arent dangerous as scum or its nooo coincidence he claims the only one TOO dangerous is the one who has scumread him/voted him.

his read on me changes with how i read him. i start the game hard accusing him and he immediately parrots josh my entrance is SIMPLY HORRIBLE. again i think he has Too Much Emphasis i shouldnt be scumreading the actives solely off their activity. both of them p clearly get some ego bruising at this entrance so its NAI in and of itself. i advance my read on him as i reread to townier and find more to like and his read on me shifts to town, he doesnt vote me d2. i start scumreading him again and bam, he scumreads me again and votes me d4.

this is also not necessarily a scumtell bc unclesam does it as village but it is a self-absorbed and bad way to play.

id think he would set me up harder as a leet defender thus scumbuddy if he was indeed mafia, though. itd be a stupid theory bc leet was too obviously caught out by town but im still surprised he HASNT tried to push it more. maybe i jsut shut it down too effectively earlier today.

his whole signalling crap to josh i think is kind of bogus. i really dont think josh and texas are mafia together, like really really, but the secrety hints bc they can understand w/e meta crap the other sees and nobody else on the village knows is like :thinking:

iunno this dude's actions towards me show that he seems oversensitive about having a competent detractor. could be town. but he also distinguishes me from the other actives when im the only one scumreading him and that he sees THAT as 'too dangerous' gives me some gucci scum vibes.

people town read me. I am saying I believe Texas is town rather confidently. it is not me saying he is lock town, so if you want to attempt to lynch him, fine. I am advising against it.
 
i dont claim to know your Secret Strategy

but i think however you're playing is $#!% and your top scumread and plausible scumteams with said read are $#!%

so your strategy kinda doesnt matter if your reads are junk

Yeti your justification for your reads on sub in were garbage, you made a progression during the point that you town read me that looked towby and then you made a series of posts that reek to me of scum motivation. Ergo.
