Are you sure you didn't mess up the order? Netbattle's IV's order is HP/Atk/Def/Spd/SAtk/SDef.

EDIT: Well, if you really messed up and put the IVs in the order you posted (Speed being 31 and SDef 30), then the Team Builder should really return a HP Steel.

I want to know if I'm checking Emerald-bred Rhyhorn's ability correctly or not. I RC Rhyhorn up to 41 in Emerald. Then I Pal Park it to Pearl and level it up once, evolving it. If it switches ability, I should see it changed as Rhydon, right?

I'm asking because all four Rhyhorns that I've transfered and evolved in this manner have kept their ability. Is it just random luck that this is happening? Is the chance of changing ability 50%?

Pokemon box and as explained earlier, yes, if you evolve the Espeed Zigzagoon in D/P, there's a chance the ability will change.

I save before evolving, if it doesn't evolve into Hitmontop, I turn off and give vitamins until it has the same stats after level 20 (Or the level it evolves, I forgot)

Pokémon Box. You have to deposit a certain amount of Pokémon to get it.

Breed a Tyrogue with the same IV in both attack and defense and then just level him up.
A 31 IV would be ideal of course.
