OK, completely caught up. I see we have.. a dichotomy of sorts with Haruno/KoC so we should probably resolve that first/rely on mechanics to snag a scum?
Either way, I've read the thread, I have reads, I will spend the next hour or so writing them up before heading to bed. If anyone wants my viewpoint on things/wants to do some real time interaction, totally up for that.

So this won't be a super-exhaustive readlist because sleep beckons, but I do think that it would be good to share my initial thoughts on players in the game as a starting point and to figure out who I'll need to reread later. Also will try breaking this up into many posts, as an experiment for people who don't like to read walls.
Aubisio: Don't really remember much of substance from them? Proposes Haruno as policy lynch and then fluffs it up. This post is making me raise an eyebrow, however:

I've noticed that newb townies are more likely to say stuff like "I have trouble figuring out reads" moreso than newb scum, in my experience? Because they're actually being genuine about the process of forming reads moreso than scum who.. aren't forming reads because they are faking them. As for the persuade thing, literally ignoring it because I don't see how much impact it has on the game prior to lylo stuff. Plus, vote manipulation mechanics are terrible. I don't know. I skim their ISO and I don't get much out of it, admittedly. Gun to head, they feel like newb town to me who has trouble actually getting into the game? But that's obviously a super loose read and stuff. Would need to like, actually interact with them in order to get a better read on them, but newb town for now?
Haruno: Has literally posted nothing of substance, and is not a cop like last game so he can't coast. Plus, is part of a dichotomy. Fine with lynching; don't really feel like digging up his posts because he's both been noncontributive and mechanically outed?
Earlio: Really like Texas's townread on them based off of his first post ("Screwed up my scum streak") - it's the type of comment that I see more often from town because it's literally the first thing that pops into their head (yay, I'm town) rather than trying to fake it as scum (shoot, I got a scum role PM, better declare I'm town/make a snarky comment about it as opposed to just doing a traditional RVS vote). Other than that, he has a lot of minor housekeeping comments throughout Day 1 but I think that he townslipped at the beginning of Day 2? Ish? I was more confident on this when I was reading through.
Honestly right now.. I might want to take another look at Earlio. He made these sorts of casual comments last game and he ended up flipping scum, and.. his play this game is sort of similar ish? He's not really hunting, he's just.. there, and that unnerves me. Will need to reread/engage with sometime.

Hitmonleet <- DurzaOffTopic: Hitmonleet hasn't contributed anything and Durza was being downright anti-town, so as a courtesy to Hitmonleet I'll refrain from analyzing his slot super in depth until he posts content. In the PoE regardless though because his replacee didn't help things.
Jalmont: Whenever I read Jalmont's posts this game I get the feeling that he's constantly angry with sprinkles of townie solving along with it, heh. He feels very similar to the last game we played, really. He's probably deserving of a reread but the main points I hit with regards to him were my notes, where he attacks/tries to discredit Texas. At first I was like "jalmont trying to discredit texas is bleghhh" but then I dug into it a little more and I'm just like, why does scum!Jalmont take this angle?
Texas just came down and posted dreadnaughts of analysis and then Jalmont decides to do something pretty risky and go against that? I dunno, if I'm scum in that position I try to work with Texas and get on his good side in order to pocket him over like, directly antagonize him. So.. I recognize Jalmont thinks differently than me and I don't know how he would go about things as scum but if he's scum then the stuff he did with Texas feels pretty risky and not needed, feels more like a maverick townie to me?
I feel like he has moments ITT where he's considering the gamestate out loud and those thoughts feel Real to me but he just reads so similarly to acid's game, inclined to give him a light town lean and push him off to the side for now until we're deeper in the PoE?

Whydon: Liked his big post sort of, but his watcher claim is mostly self-resolving so I don't realllllly need to look in here for now? If he's still around then yeah sure I'll read through but him claiming watcher should make him effectively self-resolving.
3P1K: Honestly want to reread his posts since him and Apricity are occupying this mental space in my mind where they're like the same person and I can't really distinguish too much between their posts. 3P1K is the super enthusiastic one who posts a lot and led the Thetwinmasters lynch yesterday, right?

FH <- Blazade: Pretty town in my opinion? Blazade wasn't super duper active but his posts had the ring of "I'm town but it's difficult to get invested in this game" tone, while FH has been posting decently well. Biggest reason I'm townreading this slot is because there was a moment in the thread where a wagon sprung up on FH extremely quickly and I'm like here and thinking "man, this is never a scum lynch". Wagon just sprung up outrageously quickly and that only really happens if there are scum trying to push the lynch.
I also like this paranoia from Blazade, shows that he's thinking in ways that scum rarely think about? (Like if it's scum!Blazade, town!Texas, how does Blazade come up with this/naturally think this up? Would be surprised and impressed if he did when your immediate reaction to town!Texas replacing in is like "shoot need to NK")Blazade said:

MoodyCloud: Moody's an interesting case; he is notably more engaged and active and more.. nuanced/contributive than the last game I played with him was (where he was scum and generally did not do anything for most of the game) but I don't know if I want to immediately conclude that this is Moody's town meta and skip off into the merry day. He really deserves a reread and engagement since I get the feeling that he's pretty competent and if we talk then we shoooould be able to sort each other's alignments?
Knights: Second strongest scumread when I was reading through. He doesn't feel at all like the Knights I played with last game IMO. Wasn't a fan of Knight's first couple of posts in RVS, felt like he was trying to imitate what a townie /should/ be saying rather than it being actually genuine? I don't get the sense that he's actually considering people's alignments or actually trying to solve much at all this game, he's more trying to put on the appearance of doing so. Like, he's making statements and voting people but he's not actually trying to figure out the game. I'll go more in depth on this tomorrow.
Apricity: My notes say that he feels town for 523 but I don't remember that post at all. Again he feels fairly invested and active, brain lumps him in with 3P1K. Will look over tomorrow and do some analysis there I think.
That's all I think, scum suspects right now include Knights/Xnadroj/Haruno but I do think the best thing we should do is resolve the dichotomy and use that as a stepping stone to establish a solid PoE so we can just run through this game.
