I think I also wanted to lynch him to resolve the haruno/koc/whydon thing and since I'd rather lose a watcher than a bg and haruno had koc backing up his claim.

That said, I think whydon's flip is very incriminating to both haruno and koc

Obviously. And general mafia balancing principles. Mafia has a confirmed role that helps them find power roles. It's unlikely they have more than one other power role given that town typically needs significantly more power than mafia to create a game where scum doesn't win 80+% of the time
