ok im going to come clean on the contract stuff regarding dusk because i'm not sure what to make of it and i'm not sure if it is even relevant. I didn't get the same contract as dusk, but I did get the same contract as Ullar. If we both accepted, we would have become lovers with a one time commute action. Ullar obviously rejected it, which meant that the contract was nulled before I had the chance to make a decision. I was considering accepting because it was possible that we wouldn't even have to do the post restriction, as that would only apply after we each used our commute action. Of course its risky because me and Ullar had no idea if the other was town or not, which is probably why Ullar rejected it. My theory was that Duskfall also received a similar lover contract because of the similarity of the post restrictions (Scottish for dusk, Italian for me/ullar), and I was trying to claim that I received the same contract in order to lure the other lover into talking about it, but it seems that is probably not the case.
I still read dusk as scum, but less so atm.
If it is true that everyone can make contracts, my guess is that there is a scum or 3p role that gets stronger for each contract that is accepted or something like that.

Anyway, without giving too much away, I don't think there's a high chance that both OM and I are town in this game, so I would appreciate it if we could vote OM or at the very least keep this in mind.
I think this is why Duskfall98 is right that the lawyer has to be a 3rd party. If they have the power to give out hooks and vote reductions, whats stopping them from handing out BPVs to all town. The same can be said with mafia.
The only thing I can think of is that the Lawyer could be mafia but not know their partners. Maybe the contracts are some sort of weird mating call.

Gut town on refa. I think his intentons r good but also disagree w/ him in that imo self preservation this early on isn’t alignment indicative. Assuming dusk!town self preservation is pro-town until we have info to make risking himself beneficial to town bc he’s conf town to himself; other alignments obviously also want to self preserve bc numbers/wincons, so u can’t really draw a conc from that. Other than that tho don’t have any major issues.
