NOC 2OC2NOC - Day 7: Zorbees is Dead.

Why is this contract too risky to target two NOC's with?
Bc if they both accept NOC lose a chip to play with for the day no matter who wins. In hindsight I probably overblew it last night bc I was really tired; looking back it’s actually not a huge deal this early on in the game if they do, and thinking about it more it’s a pretty good tool for trying to sow doubt between two townies.
Why did you choose to claim this part of your role today instead of on N0?
25% bc it reads as scummy and convenient to claim i can’t be copped

25% bc I forgot to use the other part of my role on n0 and didn’t feel comfortable disclosing that until id targeted at least one person; idk if that’s smart or just an inexperience thing but it’s too late for me to dwell on it (tho u can if u want)

25% bc I legitimately forgot I could do it

25% this:
I’ve played maybe 5 or 6 NOCs and I still have no clue how tf day 1 works
Anyway idk if im gonna do any reading this morning or if I’ll wait till im at home/not stuck on my phone but either way if someone wants me to answer smth I check quotes/tags even when I’m not “reading” and will answer when I see it.

Still got a town lean on refa but obviously I have the potential town/maf contract thing in the back of my mind. Will form opinions about others after re-reading.

One more shower thought that doesn’t really matter much but I wonder if contracts are actually free-form or if the contract lawyer has to choose from a range of pre-generated contracts.

I also wonder if all contracts are being distributed by one guy or if there are multiple contract lawyers in the game.

Not really any way to get an answer for either until they flip/get copped but it feels weird that we’re seeing so many contracts at once. The fact we’ve had two picture ones makes me think that tgere may be a range of themed lawyers or that the contracts may have been predetermined either on a per-night basis or on a per-game basis.

Of course I could also be completely wrong about both of these but it’s just on my mind.

Bomb Moss' return to thread bothers me because he basically policy lynches Marth without like...trying to determine if he thinks Marth himself is town or scum? And he just votes Martin without saying anything, which makes me think he wants to lynch Martin because it's easy over any other reasoning. Biased a little here because I liked Martin's responses to my questions and in general; seems more like newb town than scum to me.

Lynch 2: Bomb Moss

Everyone I would like to bring up the fact that in thread BLOODYRAIN10001 kinda got too much towncred for verifying m2h, but following n1's results I really don't think any towncred from that claim is justified. I believe bloody is a mimic but I don't see why that is towny. Not necessarily saying we need to lynch there, but I am definitely keeping an eye on the slot.

In other news the worst wagonomics after d1 imo were om/bloody (why I was went back to look at them), followed by marth and bomb moss. Bomb moss also kinda just popped on, voted 2 net negative roles and dipped today which is kinda :dankpuff: I know I did policy vote martin with lynch 2 but also kinda realising that it is too easy a way to get out of scum hunting, and we can't just lynch net negative role claims all the time tbh if we want to find scum efficiently.

Lynch 2: xnad

martin's posts are giving me a headache
koc's posts do not feel decisively towny but they're not scum indicative either, I'd rather keep that slot around and see if he can follow up on his big reads post, it's usually been a d1nocmislynch slot that ends up slipping as scum down the line

I don't remember what zorbees' noc game is like but I'm leaning town on them so far
Really don't like the pushes on koc

My read on Martin is like...I don't get his logic but I like his town sort of thing.
Agreed with your read on KOC. I have a tough time getting a handle on the guy outside of it, but I don't think he's done anything like...bad enough to warrant being voted by me, anyways.

Can you explain which pushes you dislike? I had a gut negative reaction to KOC coming into today before like thinking about it some more, so I can get why other people would feel the same.

Checking in for five minutes. Went to sleep Townreading Former. The janitor conclusion felt very thrill of the solve.

SB. Being silenced is points in his favor if it isn't being faked. But because it can be faked, it isn't a guarantee of Towniness.

I think it's unlikely DLE is gonna find a Guzma's Throne to clear him, but I think his lynch is lower prio than scumhunting rn. Bluedoom is likely Towm because scum shoulda coulda woulda just shut tf up and let me hang.

Think Imma lob a vote at Ullar when I'm not pressed for time. Dude faded when I called on him to make an effort in casing me and he's had plenty of time now to potentially turn to his scumbuddies for help.

Scumhunting should probably go over lynching negative utility roles given how many players we're down, although a part of me wants to go "BUT WHAT IF HE'S A PASSIVE JANITOR SCUM DOING LE GAMBIT". But if I start on that I'll just think way too hard about it, so I'll just put it out there.
