Once upon a time there was a young mewtwohidden and nuxl gave him a role pm. That role pm was a town role pm. The end.
isoed Fenrir's tiny pool of posts and this one stood out to me. Regarding the bottom line just want to say that town Hannah used the same line of not wanting ti try to read DS in my 451 game with her. So I think that's one of the weakest reasons ever to scumread Hannah. Obviously I have an agenda in wanting to keep other people who might be willing to vote Hannah out later alive for now, but his effort in the thread is so small and overall his posts feel like he's tiptoeing instead of contributing.
but as a real comment, the fact that DS didn't actively push me while I was alive, and the fact that Duskfall at the very least has not decided that I should die should give you pause. If you think I'm scum, you basically have to pair me with Duskfall and to think Duskfall is scum you have to believe that both hal and DS got him wrong. It honestly doesn't make any sense to continue to be paranoid over my slot and I think if you compare this game to my previous scum game on site or even my best scum play on mafia 451, this play is much different and more in line with my town play.

I honestly don't know what you expect me to say. Anything that I could say to support me being town just based on my play is self-meta and if I know what my town game looks like to the extent that I can describe WHY I'm towny, then I know my town game good enough to fake it.

Also, what happens if dusk wants to lynch you today? Does that mean I should listen to him and lynch you too?

I mean, of course not. Whether Dusk can read me correctly or not, or whether he's scum and decides to bury me--that doesn't change my role PM. As a general rule of thumb though? If you were going to sheep somebody on my slot you should be sheeping people like Dusk.
Yeah but describing your **actions** as having towny **intent** is a whole lot easier when they were actually made with towny.
Player makes a post. Player's post has an agenda. Not always is that agenda apparent. But backtracking and making up a towny reason for that agenda is arguably harder than being a towny and actually just explaining your thought process more clearly. I get you said you do stream of consciousness posting sometimes, but even that doesn't show everything.
If you're used to stream of consciousness posting like you say you are, then just stream of consciousness away on a defense post instead of saying "no i can't defend myself."
I'm sorry bro but I have no idea what this is supposed to mean.
I didn't vote Clarinet because he was at L-2/L-1 basically the entire time that I was active on Sunday. I expressed the fact that Clarinet fakes being a PR as vt/scum, and that I didn't really buy the soft. I felt that Clarinet expressing constant paranoia at my slot for no reason without actually giving a consistent read on me was fillery and similar to what he did in popcorn. Like I have posts and development on Clarinet if you actually read it.
And yeah, clarinet wasn't even really my favorite lynch yesterday, but the things that you're criticizing me for just don't make sense if you actually have any context in terms of reading my posts.
shrug? bruh we have people like apricity who want to lynch you today and I'm giving you a chance to speak. if you're actually a towny, then I don't see why you'd suddenly change your opinion on me when I clearly didn't trust you day 1 and made that known but you still towncored me and that's still my position now. I haven't changed much since then, have you?
it means at the very least as a towny, a player should be able to defend yourself with all the reasoning behind your reads or posts. Maybe I'm asking for a regurgitation of past points you made coupled with your current thoughts, but I want the focus to just keep around you. Think of it as isoing yourself maybe?
In any event you should clearly see you're in a potential hotseat right now if townleader hal is actively considering going after you.
I didn't change my opinion on you. You're town, I just think your request makes no sense.

smh, even following your question format makes me feel icky. it feels like a defendant in a case actively saying no to answer a prosecutor's questions and getting to make up their own question instead. which yeah you should be able to use your own questions and answers as part of your defense, but doing so in a way that shields you from what someone is asking from you in the first place / lets you dodge stuff is weird.
Not sure how much I buy any of the stuff that you just don't understand what I'm doing.

I've seen your town game before, both times pretty up close. I've never seen your scum game, but after you made these posts you already exuded a level of innocence and a lack of self consciousness that I would associate with scum that as a preliminary read I felt pretty good about putting you in the strong category. I get that it can be a little demeaning to be titled obvious town, and I've been there, but honestly until you bamboozle me in a game I'm going to feel pretty comfortable giving a high confidence read on you very early on. If you do happen to be scum right now, hats off to you, and I guess I won't underestimate you in future games.
If you look at the sum total content than Energy has put into the game so far, there really isn't anything aside from a relatively decent start of d1 (accusing DS of having slipped). I honestly kind of forgot that he was in the game at all until he hopped in to vote moody which is an ok vote I guess? Except it kinda just seems like Energy entered the thread as a reaction to being placed in apricity's POE, and instead of--as you are pressing me to do--defending himself or his read, he places a vote on Moody and leaves.
I really don't think you have any basis in saying that I'm afraid of posting, or defending my reads. I'm one of the main people driving discussion in the thread, I just think that having to go through my own ISO and defend myself as town is silly.
