NOC Lovers Dance: Second Date Game Thread - Game Over

When the outcome of the game is going to be the same regardless if I try or not then I have no interest in wasting my time.

Let's just lynch someone, let the mafia make whatever kill they want and then win. zzz

- Calem/Mega (I can't see Calem scum in any world, and Mega has tried less hard this game to form reads, which feels towny to me)

2. would reassess at lylo (or whatever the equivalent is)
- Heal/M2H (HeaL is yep, M2H is really leaning into this "i'm the best lol" card, which I only aspiration ally read as scum)

2a. would also reassess at lylo (or equiv, but differentiating from previous)
- Asek/Nuxl (Nuxl's activity is town lol, Asek has been the biggest null for me)
- Energy/Dawning Winds (I can't see Energy scum here, Dawning Winds a lot of nai stuff)

3. need to think about it
- Texas/Eagle (Texas i think is town, Eagle pinged me early and I couldn't shake it)

4. wouldn't take to lylo
- bgb/former (i can't see bgb's swap on inv me coming from scum unless former is scum so they're fine, but former has felt off)
- OM/CB (OM is null, I really didn't like CB's justification for their pairing, read really pre-emptive)

Just taking a glance, I think that doesn't accurately calculate for the bannings - they probably churn out eagle better than I think and asek somewhat worse

non-game related thoughts:

1. Bánh mì is so good
2. practicing football with a net is so much greater than practicing without one

bgb/former vs om/cb almost definitely has one scum in it

calem/mega easily could be misdirection

putting a partner in the middle is classic


could it actually be OM+nuxl?

we only have one lock town pair. we dont have a second one.
 
Look, let's just vote out the low hanging fruit (OM and CB/Lily). It probably has one, if not both, scum. If so gg we just win.

If not, then it triggers the mafia kill, they kill someone. Then there is nothing they can do for the rest of the game and we as town can discuss our reads as much as we want because the mafia literally can not do a single thing about it besides try to get misvotes.
 
Also for the record. Unless the scum team are just bad it's nearly confirmed that the final pairing is s/s.

Every single town person in the game has an instant action suicide vig. It literally never makes sense for them to expose themselves to the option that someone with a private chat with them can choose to vig them at any point in the game if they can help it.

Also also. If it is two town/scum pairings then it becomes so easy. The mafia need to make up 50% of the game to win. If it is two town/scum pairings then it means they need both of those scum pairings to be the last pairings alive. It's so much easier just to put yourselves in one basket and allow yourself to bring a t/t pairing to endgame then to try to manage it.

So yeah, unless scum team is bad then we're dealing with a s/s team here and the only couple that makes sense for that is OM/CB(Lily).
 
don't think that dopog bgb vote interaction clears bgb, dopog may have just ignored bgb's invite because it's not great for two maf to team up

it does seem like half the playerlist has already given up on this game so maybe we should just go ahead and vote a pair out?

texas doesn't look good in that m2h interaction, m2h was raising valid points and then tex was responding with 'i never said that' which ehhh -- but w/ texas / energy / m2h being 3 of my strongest scumreads it *does* mean that texas/energy and texas/m2h looks very very unlikely

asek and nuxl is such a strong t/t it's not even funny

sorry if these thoughts aren't articulated very well, promise i'll make more sense in the second dance

and also it's the only way to break t/t strategy so i think there's a decent-ish chance you're right

if you're town you really need to be considering worlds where i'm not mafia, because i'm not. I'll once again remind you that you've literally only ever read me correctly once and it was a game where I was scum and didn't need to deceive you, every game we've played where I was town you've scum read me incorrectly

I'm allowed to take credit for pushing the DS/Dogop slot, and all other things being equal, DS would not have suicided if it had not been for me 'trolling him' which was really just me pushing him but DS considers it trolling for me to push him in practically every game. With that said I see no reason for me as scum game to tunnel my own scummates slots but to tunnel the town in the pair lmao. Especially when I could have kept that slot alive at least a little bit longer.
