Pet Mod To The Gigantamax! V2 (Slate 19: Anything Goes - Voting Phase)

:cursola:
Pokemon: Cursola
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Ghost
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Coral Curse
G-Max Move Type: Ghost
G-Max Move Description: Bits of dead coral replace the various objects being thrown around in the G-Max animation. This inflicts Heal Block, though likely as the G-Max Move's own volatile effect instead of Heal Block's because of Movexit.
Competitive Overview: Cursola can just slap Pex with G-Max Coral Curse and blam. This G-Max Move hits with the same BP as Gengar's, but Cursola has more SpA, not to mention the also sky-high SpD allowing you to easily tank Scalds. It also allows you to stop Clef from spreading Wishes to non-Normals. Again, Normals are this thing's sworn nemesis, but if you switch Cursola in and there's a Normal mon be it on the field or benched, either set up Rocks or GTFO into something that checks the Normal.

:sm/mimikyu:
Pokemon: Mimikyu
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Ghost/Fairy
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Snuggle
G-Max Move Type: Fairy
G-Max Move Description: Lowers the opponent's Attack by one stage and boosts the user's critical hit ratio by 1
Competitive Overview: With a little team support to handle the Steel-types of Ubers, Mimikyu can get a sweep going after a Swords Dance pretty easily with G-Max Snuggle, as the Attack reduction means that if the opponent takes the hit, Mimikyu won't be weakened as much by the next hit and the boost to its critical hit ratio makes Shadow Claw into a 105 BP STAB move that ignores defense boosts, a much needed power boost

Pokemon: Zarude
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Dark/Grass
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Harvest
G-Max Move Type: Dark
G-Max Move Description: Heals the user by 50% of the damage dealt
Competitive Overview: G-Max Harvest allows Zarude to keep itself healthy while Dynamaxed, making it a viable choice to Dynamax even if it's weakened earlier in the battle. This also makes it much harder to revenge kill and this combined with Max Knuckle or Bulk Up to boosts Attack and Max Airstream (Acrobatics) to boost speed, a healthy Zarude after 3 turns can becomes a nasty sweeper

:sm/obstagoon:
Pokemon: Obstagoon
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Dark/Normal
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Breakdown
G-Max Move Type: Dark
G-Max Move Description: Burns every Pokemon on the field including the user
Competitive Overview: This Max Move allows Guts Obstagoon to hold another item like a Choice Band or Black Glasses while still allowing it to activate Guts, which makes it effectively more powerful and allows it to run a different move other than Obstruct in it's 4th slot, like a coverage move or Parting Shot

:sm/ninetales:
Pokemon: Ninetales
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Fire
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Combustion
G-Max Move Type: Fire
G-Max Move Description: Hard coded to 160 BP
Competitive Overview: Much like G-Max Rillaboom's ludicrously powerful G-Max Drum Solo having an effective 208 BP thanks to Grassy Surge, G-Max Ninetales' G-Max Combustion has an even more ludicrous 240 BP in the Sun that can further be bolstered by Nasty Plot, making Ninetales a great option to Dynamax on Sun teams if Charizard is weakened or KOed before it can DMax itself

Subs will close later today

Pokemon: Poliwrath
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Water/Fighting
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Belly Swirl
G-Max Move Type: Fighting
G-Max Move Description: The user maxes out its Attack stat (+6 stages) but deducts the user half of its max HP.
Competitive Overview: Poliwrath gets a Speed boost from Swift Swim and Max Geyser and now completes its sweep by maxing out its Attack stat. Poliwrath has good all-around bulk, so it can afford to set up in two turns while dealing good damage in the process. Poliwrath can hold Damp Rock to lengthen its sweep, though a boosting item makes it much more unstoppable for a shorter time. Just make sure the opponent no longer has priority users in the field.

Caionamax's Arctozolt
Yoshiblaze's Ninetales
MegaFlareon's Poliwrath
charizard8888's Scolipede
Gleeboop's Galvantula
KirbyRider1337's Cursola

Yoshiblaze's Obstagoon
charizard8888's Scolipede
Gleeboop's Polteageist
KirbyRider1337's Cursola
Yoshiblaze's Ninetales
Caionamax's Arctozolt

Voting as ended!

Arctozolt - 4
Ninetales - 2
Poliwrath - 2
Scolipede - 4
Galvantula - 1
Cursola - 3
Skarmory - 1
Mimikyu - 1
Obstagoon - 2
Zarude - 1
Polteageist - 1

The Winners
:ss/arctozolt:
Pokemon: arctozolt
Type of the gigantamax form: electric/ice
G-Max move name: Subzero fossil
G-Max move type: ice
G-Max move description: lowers the opposing speed by one and raise its attack by one
Competitive overview: :arctozolt: now has got the chance to destroy with its mixed attacks (bolt beak and freeze dry the most important moves) common defensive core (toxapex, chansey, quagsire and a lot others) and can also have speed control and setup in one turn with its new g-max move. It can be perfect for balance and sticky offense team, but it need someone that help him eith its ×4 weakness to ground.
:ss/Scolipede:
Pokemon: Scolipede
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Bug/Poison
G-Max Move Name: Venomous Strike
G-Max Move Type: Poison
G-Max Move Description: Sets up 2 layers of Toxic Spikes and does neutral damage to Steel-type.
Competitive Overview: Now Scolipede can not only be a fast attacker but also strike the opponent with a move and set up Toxic Spikes simultaneously while Megahorn already has high BP.
:cursola:
Pokemon: Cursola
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Ghost
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Coral Curse
G-Max Move Type: Ghost
G-Max Move Description: Bits of dead coral replace the various objects being thrown around in the G-Max animation. This inflicts Heal Block, though likely as the G-Max Move's own volatile effect instead of Heal Block's because of Movexit.

Now for the next slate!

Slate 3: Redistribute
:sm/garbodor-gmax::sm/melmetal-gmax:
Currently, there are only 2 official GMax forms that are not from Generations 1 or 8, being Garbodor and Melmetal. For this slate, you must make submissions for any Pokemon NOT introduced in Generations 1 or 8.
For the purposes of this slate, Meltan is considered to be from Gen 7.

Submissions will end on September 9th

:ss/vanilluxe:
Type: ice
G-max move: G-max Freezing Breath
G-max move type: Ice
G-max move effect: lowers opponent attack and spa by 1
Reason: Guaranteed freeze is too op, g-max foam burst already has speed drop, and lapras already sets veil. luxe can be used to lower the opponent attack and spa, helping agaisnt opposing attackers like eternatus and zacian (but why would you stay in agaisnt zac?)
:ss/klinklang:
Type: electric/steel
G-max move: G-max Gear Bash
G-max move type: Steel
G-max move effect: BP is 0.67, but hits twice.
Reason: I wanted to do something related to multi-hit moves, so reducing the bp is the only thing i can do to make it balanced. it can defet things such as sash and babiri.

:ss/chandelure:
Pokemon: Chandelure-Gmax
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Fire/Ghost
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Shadow Burn
G-Max Move Type: Ghost
G-Max Move Description: This move traps the opponent and burns them. The opponent can still switch out with Volt Switch, U-turn, Flip Turn, Baton Pass and Teleport, or if they hold Shed Shell. The replacement will not be trapped, but will be inflicted with a burn on switch in. The burn cannot be removed through Heal Bell, Aromatherapy, etc. The burn effect will last until the third turn from the user switching out.
Competitive Overview: G-Max Chandelure is now able to trap, wear down, and remove prominent physical attackers in Ubers such as Zacian-C, Excadrill, Galarian Darmanitan, and Dugtrio. The benefit of this move is that it is able to punish teams that only run physical attackers thanks to the burn.

:ss/excadrill:
Pokemon: Excadrill-Gmax
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Ground/Steel
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Construction Hazards
G-Max Move Type: Ground
G-Max Move Description: If the move is successful, Stealth Rock and 1 layer of Spikes are placed at the target's side of the field.
Competitive Overview: G-Max Excadrill provides useful utility to any team, since it is able to set up hazards and sweep in one move. It is especially scary with Tyranitar, since it will be hard to outpace and can easily OHKO Zacian-C, Eternatus, and Galarian Darmanitan.

Reserving 6 sumbission... working in progress
:gs/tyranitar:
Type of the gigantamax form: Dark/Rock
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Darker Pursuit
G-Max Move Type: Dark
G-Max Move effect: If an opposing Pokemon switches out this turn, this move hits that Pokemon before it leaves the field, even if it was not the original target.
Competitive overview: THE KING IS BACK! From gen 2 we have... TYRANITAR. During this gen we all think: tyranitar is less stronger because it hasn't got pursuit, but now it can be stronger and put a lot of pressure vs lunala, mew and mewtwo, dragapult and gengar.

:dp/lucario:
Type of the gigantamax form: Fighting/Steel
G-Max Move name: G-Max Kick Block
G-Max Move effevt: Prevents the target from switching out. At the end of each turn during effect, the target's Defense and Special Defense are lowered by 1 stage.
Competitive overview: from gen 4... one of my favourite pokemon... LUCARIO!
This pokemon now have an octolock clone and pressure a lot impreparate pokemon. Rembeber that pokemon learn psychic for toxapex, fcannon, aura sphere and calm mind, too. A fantastic special attacker.

:xy/talonflame:
Type of the gigantamax form: Fire/Flying
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Stormy Winds
G-Max Move Type: Flying
G-Max Move effect: Summons Stormy Winds
*Stormy winds: All non-grounded pokemon can only be damaged by direct attack (like magic guard). It can't be replaced by other weather/terrain. Lasts 8 turns.
Competitive overview: from gen 6... it's a bird? it's a- oh right this is a bird lol, TALONFLAME! Now flying type are better because brave birds have no recoil, you can also use flying with no :heavy duty boots: and leviate pokemon like rotoms and hydreigon can attack without life orb recoil.Talonflame can setup this weather/terrain (I didn't choose if it is a weather or a terrain) with priority (Gale wings) and do big damage to zacian-crowned or other steel types. When you summon Stormy winds and your dynamax finish, just U-Turn out and do big things with your non-grounded pokemon!

:sm/toxapex:
Type of the gigantamax form: Water/Poison
G-Max Move name: G-Max Total shelter
G-Max Move type: poison
G-Max Move effect: poison the target and 1 layers of toxic spikes are placed on the terrain
Competitive overview: From gen 7... the perfect stall mon... TOXAPEX! Now it can poison the target and poison the future target. It's an optimal strategy for stall (max guard and poison go down) but it has also an offensive role for pex: MERCILESS! Crit and crit! What do you prefere: burned by scald under rain (max geyser) or poison and critted by toxic/toxic spikes/baneful banker/G-Max total shelder?

Pokemon: Excadrill-Gmax
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Ground/Steel
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Construction Hazards
G-Max Move Type: Ground
G-Max Move Description: If the move is successful, the user's Attack stat is raised by 2 stages, and Stealth Rock and 2 layers of Spikes are placed at the target's side of the field.
I think that even in Ubers, this would make Excadrill a bit broken as a free Swords Dance while dealing a ton of damage for a mon that's already one of the best Dynamaxers in the tier (already being A Rank on the VR) already puts it over the edge but then having it set hazards on top of that adds insult to injury, since it removes counterplay in Focus Sashes. I'd suggest removing the Attack boosting effect and nerfing how many hazards it sets at one time in some way.

All of these are fine and I do like that you did 1 sub from every gen that was allowed but this slate still adheres to the rule of 4 subs per slate so I do still have to ask that you remove 2 of these and use them for a later slate
You can submit 4 Gigantamax forms per slate. Voting rules change depending on how many subs are submitted

My subs

:sm/primarina:
Pokemon: Primarina
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Water/Fairy
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Operetta
G-Max Move Type: Fairy
G-Max Move Description: Hard coded to 160 BP and is a Sound move
Competitive Overview: This move gives Primarina a nuclear powered secondary STAB to smack the numerous Dragons of Ubers with while going through Substitutes, one of the best ways to stall out Dynamax. Furthermore, Primarina can either use Torrent to have a great dual STAB combo in Dynamax with Max Geyser and Operetta or it can use Liquid Voice to have a nuclear powered Water STAB, which very few of the best Pokemon in Ubers want to take, that still allows Primarina to set rain with Max Geyser and make it even stronger.

:sm/tangrowth:
Pokemon: Tangrowth
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Grass
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Entanglement
G-Max Move Type: Grass
G-Max Move Description: Sets Leech Seed and the effects of Wrap on the opponent
Competitive Overview: As a defensive Dynamaxer, Tangrowth as it is is likely outclassed by Ferrothorn thanks to Ferro's dual STAB and overall higher bulk. However, with G-Max Entanglement, Tangrowth can be a much more annoying defensive Dynamaxer, slowly draining the life out of offensive threats while being extremely bulky in its own right, with the opponent taking 24.5% if they are not a Grass-type and trapping them, allowing Tangrowth to beat many offensive threats 1v1 in a pinch.

:sm/malamar:
Pokemon: Malamar
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Dark/Psychic
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Inkantation
G-Max Move Type: Dark
G-Max Move Description: Lowers the Speed of the user and the opponent by 2 stages
Competitive Overview: A dastardly form of speed control in case Malamar goes down that also naturally pairs with Contrary, giving Malamar +2 Speed to help it attempt a sweep

:sm/Jirachi:
Pokemon: Jirachi
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Steel/Psychic
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Doomsday
G-Max Move Type: Steel
G-Max Move Description: Sets a Doom Desire effect (140 BP Steel-type move that hits the opponent 2 turns later)
Competitive Overview: G-Max Doomsday allows Jirachi to dish out a ton of damage on its 3rd turn of Dynamax, setting whatever effect it needs to whether it's an Attack boost from Max Knuckle or Psychic Terrain from Max Mindstorm while a 140 BP ball of death comes for the current Pokemon at high speeds. Due to the high power of Doom Desire, G-Max Doomsday essentially trades a secondary effect for 4 turns of Max Moves, which can be huge for wallbreaking purposes, especially when it give Jirachi less turns to have to hope for Iron Head flinches.

Subs end later today

Now for the next slate!

Slate 4: Scene Change
:sm/charizard-mega-x::sm/lopunny-mega::sm/gyarados-mega:
In the past, some Mega Evolutions had a different typing than their base form. However, in the official games, Gigantamax forms do not share this trait, but in this Pet Mod, Gigantamax forms are allowed to be a different typing than their base form.
For this slate, you can submit any legal Pokemon but their Gigantamax form must change (or remove) their secondary typing

Submissions will end on September 20th

Pokemon: Mawile-Gmax (too lazy to download an image lol)
Typing: Steel-Normal (would be Fairy-Normal if I could change primary types)
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Gluttony
G-Max Move Type: Normal
Description: If this move is successful, all Pokemon on the field that are holding a consumable Berry lose the Berry, but Mawile's HP is restored proportionally to the amount of Berries lost in this manner. This includes Mawile, so be careful!
1 Berry: 5% of max
2 Berries: 10% of max
3 Berries: 15% of max
4 Berries: 20% of max
Competitive description: Calling back to its roots in the yokai Futakuchi-Onna (an otherwise-normal woman with two mouths), this Pokemon is ready to dine at will! Designed for doubles, it gets rid of pesky Berries and restores its HP as well. Combine with things like Harvest or Unburden for a combo plate of recovery and offense.
This is my first time doing something like this, so apologies if it seems unpolished.
Also, Dex entries, why not?:
Sword: Upon absorbing Gigantamax energy, it became interested in food and food alone. It cries in disappointment when it can't find anything to eat.
Shield: Gigantamaxing gave it taste buds in its other mouth and an exponentially increased appetite. Its teeth became flatter to accomodate for the dietary change.

:bw/volcarona:
Pokemon: Volcarona-Gmax
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Fire/Ground
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Solar Twilight
G-Max Move Type: Fire
G-Max Move Description: If the move is successful, the same-type attack bonus is now 2 instead of 1.5.
Competitive Overview: G-Max Volcarona becomes a fearsome setup sweeper, being able to punch holes in opponents' teams with x2 STAB. This means Flamethrower is a 180 power move and Bug Buzz a 180 power move. This makes Volcarona fulfill the same role as Crawdaunt in OU, but a bit more fearsome in order to check Zacian-C and Galarian Darmanitan.

:ss/incineroar:
Pokemon: Incineroar-Gmax
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Fire/Fighting
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Arena Champion
G-Max Move Type: Fighting
G-Max Move Description: If the move is successful, each of Incineroar's stats are raised by 1 stage.
Competitive Overview: Incineroar is currently unviable in Ubers. With this Gmax form, my hope is that it is going to be a decent Ubers Pokemon capable of beating common threats like Excadrill and Tyranitar with its boosted stats. With this move, Incineroar-Gmax could become a potentially dangerous setup sweeper.

:bw/gyarados:
Pokemon: Gyarados-Gmax
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Water/Dragon
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Draconic Smash
G-Max Move Type: Dragon
G-Max Move Description: If this move is successful, the user loses half of its health but its Attack and Speed are raised by one stage.
Competitive Overview: Gyarados-Gmax is a double-edged sweeper. Although it gets its stats boosted, it loses half of its health, meaning it can easily be revenge killed. Nonetheless, it can easily break through unprepared teams.
hey, i think incin and volc are overpowered, but gyara is underpowered. having an 135 spa mon with an good offensive typing and 2. stab is pretty powerful. also, incin with power trip sets may become too powerful even for the land of zacian and eternatus. also, having to cut your max hp to do an simple +1 in attack and speed is too much, lower the health loss or make it so no health is lost
