My deepest apologies for not closing this, I wanted to three days ago but it slipped my memory. I'll try my best to be better about this going forward.

Anyways, the winners for the Mountain Climbers are Emergence's Wakitty and PokePoindexter's Cruchick...

Name: Wakitty (wawa, Inca word for baby, + kitty)
Typing:

Abilities: Snow Cloak / Slush Rush / Cute Charm (HA)
Base Stats: 42 / 60 / 40 / 60 / 40 / 73 (315)
Height/Weight: 0.4 m / 4 kg
Flavour/Design: Wakitty is a chimera kitten (the left and right halves of its face are different colors) with icy cold light blue fur, with one half of its face a pale yellow and the other black. There is a small zigzag symbol under one eye and a moon-shaped symbol under the other eye. Wakitty lives on snowy mountaintops, with its fur helping it blend into the snow. Wakitty may be small but they are fully capable of hunting and defending themselves. Evolves into Cougaquil with max happiness during the day, or into Jagaska at night.

Name: Cougaquil (cougar + Catequil, an Inca god of lightning)
Typing:

Abilities: Snow Cloak / Slush Rush / Moxie (HA)
Base Stats: 70 / 112 / 70 / 90 / 60 / 113 (515)
Notable Moves: Icicle Crash, Ice Shard, Zing Zap, Wild Charge, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Freeze-Dry, Play Rough, Crunch, U-turn, Volt Switch, Nuzzle, Taunt, Hone Claws, Agility
Height/Weight: 1.4 m / 60 kg
Flavour/Design: Cougaquil is a cougar with light blue fur and yellow lightning bolt patterns along its body and behind its ears. Cougaquil prowls snowy mountains and caves, subduing prey with powerful thunderbolts or blasts of ice.
Competitive: Cougaquil has the famed Ice/Electric STAB combo with high speed and the offenses to use it. Icicle Crash and Zing Zap/Wild Charge are its main moves, with priority in Ice Shard and pivoting in U-turn or Volt Switch. Hone Claws could possibly be used to set up with the switches it forces, synergizing well with Icicle Crash's imperfect accuracy. Moxie allows it to snowball.

Name: Jagaska (jaguar + Ch'aska, Inca goddess of dawn and twilight)
Typing:

Abilities: Snow Cloak / Slush Rush / Prowess* (HA)
Base Stats: 70 / 90 / 60 / 112 / 70 / 113 (515)
Notable Moves: Ice Beam, Freeze-Dry, Dark Pulse, Night Daze, Moonblast, Shadow Ball, Focus Blast, U-turn, Taunt, Calm Mind, Moonlight, Agility
Custom Feature: Prowess* - Moxie clone that boosts SpA
Height/Weight: 1.5 m / 75 kg
Flavour/Design: Jagaska is a jaguar with light blue fur and black spots on its body. Its eyes are pale and pupil-less, resembling the moon. Hiding in the shadows on snowy mountains through the day, they emerge at night to hunt. Jagaska are known to stalk their prey for several hours through the night, waiting until their prey falls asleep to attack.
Competitive: The special counterpart to Cougaquil, Jagaska still has a potent offensive STAB combo, solid coverage options, and U-turn or Calm Mind. Its new ability Prowess lets it snowball.
Name: Cruchick (Crude [oil] + Chick)
Typing:
/

Ability: Corrosion / Refrigerate (Hidden: Merciless)
Base Stats: 80 / 33 / 65 / 43 / 70 / 34 (Total: 325)
Notable Moves: Ice Beam, Blizzard, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Toxic, Haze, Stockpile, Spit Up, Swallow, Corrosive Gas, Toxic Spikes
Flavor/Design: A blue-gray rockhopper penguin chick with a small acid green crest drooping over its head like oil. Cruchick became a Poison-type following an oil spill in a lake located in the mountains of Brazda. Overexposure to oil has made Cruchick sluggish and lethargic in comparison to its ancestors.

Name: Pengroleum (Penguin + Petroleum)
Typing:
/

Ability: Corrosion / Refrigerate (Hidden: Merciless)
Base Stats: 115 / 63 / 100 / 78 / 105 / 64 (Total: 505)
Notable Moves: Ice Beam, Blizzard, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Toxic, Haze, Stockpile, Spit Up, Swallow, Corrosive Gas, Toxic Spikes, Body Press, Toxic Snowball
New Features:
Toxic Snowball
Type: Ice/Status
Effect: Protects the user. Deals 25% damage to and Poisons opponents that try to use Special Attacks. May fail if used in succession.

Flavor/Design: A fully-grown indigo-and-white rockhopper penguin with a larger crest. Pengroleum carries more than 20 gallons of oil inside its body and on its feathers. It is considered a public health hazard and is forbidden to keep outside of Pokeballs in several parts of Brazda.

Potential Competitive Role: Pengroleum is pretty clearly a defensive mon. Options like Toxic (with Corrosion), Haze, Toxic Spikes, and the combination of Stockpile and Swallow are all at its disposal. Alternatively, Merciless allows Pengroleum to do some decent damage to Poisoned opponents and helps avenge its lackluster offensive stats. And, of course, there's its signature attack Toxic Snowball, which is an amped-up Baneful Bunker that triggers against Special attacks instead. Although its typing leaves a lot to be desired and its movepool isn't particularly large, Pengroleum can be a nasty wall to break when played correctly.
The winning gift Pokemon is Ema Skye's Gifsterious...

Name: Gifsterious (gift + mysterious), the Present Pokemon.
Typing: Normal
Ability: Thoughtful (This Pokemon's type is the same as the last Pokemon in the party)
Base Stats: 90 / 90 / 90 / 90 / 90 / 90 (540 BST)
Notable Moves: Level Up: Present, Copycat, Mimic, Confide, Captivate, Celebrate, Play Nice, Metronome, Helping Hand, Follow Me, Wish, Healing Wish, After You, Reflect Type, Happy Hour, Hold Hands
TM/TR: Everything
Flavour/Design: Children in Brazado give this Pokemon to each other as a thought of friendship. It resembles a box, though it looks like a child has turned it into a creature with marker stripes, paper taped in different directions, paper ears (in two different colors), googly eyes on its side and a giant pompom for its tail. Once it has been given to the recipient, it can never be opened, serving as a thoughtful reminder of friendship, even into adulthood.
Potential Competitive Role: Limiting stats due to everything being average, but it can do virtually everything. It's a great wildcard, playing a lot like Mew. While Mew has better stats, you can influence Gifsterious' typing to help it fit into any team composition.
And last, the mythical is Scoopapa's Hyakada...

Name: Hyakada
Typing: Rock / Ice
Ability: Solar Flare*
Base Stats: 85 / 115 / 95 / 115 / 75 / 115 | BST: 600
Flare Forme: 85 / 135 / 55 / 135 / 105 / 135 | BST: 650
Notable Moves:
Physical: Century Blade*, Stone Edge, Triple Axel, Flare Blitz, Sacred Sword, Solar Blade, Explosion, Rapid Spin
Special: Meteor Beam, Power Gem, Ice Beam, Aura Spere, Focus Blast, Solar Beam, Weather Ball,
Status: Swords Dance, Stealth Rock, Rock Polish, Morning Sun
New Features:
Solar Flare - Changes to Flare forme if Harsh Sunlight is active, reverts to base forme otherwise.
Century Blade - Rock type | Physical | 120 BP | 90 Acc. | 5-8 PP | Charges turn 1 and raises Def 1 stage. Hits turn two. Charges and hits in the same turn if Harsh Sunlight is active.
Design: Humanoid pokemon with a dark grey body and a large, rocky head that looks like a cicada's. It has relatively short arms and legs, with the forearms and shins being made of ice. It has two curved, thin, blade-like wings. In Flare forme, it emits a stream of red energy towards the sun, and floats above the ground.
Lore: This pokemon streaks through the sky every 100 years. It is considered an omen of death and destruction, but it is said that it sometimes lands on the Earth in order to lead a pure-hearted warrior (read: an 11 year-old child) to victory.
Origin: The pokemon is based on a comet; comets are made of rock and ice, hence the typing. For the name, I looked for an interesting name of a comet. There was a flyby of a comet called Hyakutake (named for the person who discovered it) in 1996. Hyakutake is Japanese for "100 Samurai", with Hyaku meaning "100". Because comets only appear every so often and it has "100" in the name, I decided to incorporate aspects of cicadas in the design, since they can hibernate underground for huge amounts of time and only emerge every so often.
Potential Competitive Role: A fast and powerful mixed attacker. Rock and Ice are both great offensive types, and it has Fire and Fighting coverage to help deal with Steel types. However, it has a pretty atrocious defensive typing that will leave it getting 1-2HKOed even if it grabs a Defense boost or two. Outside of Sun, Special Meteor Beam sets would be superior. In sun, it can abuse its custom physical move to great effect.

And for the next slate...

Lakes and Rivers
:magikarp: :poliwag: :lotad:
For this slate, we'll be subbing Pokemon meant for bodies of water. Fish, turtles, amphibians...you all get the gist, whatever you all think would be fitting for Brazdo. These can be anything from one-stage to three-stage as well. I'll probably give you all until the 24th to submit, but I will give a 48 hour warning in advance. See you guys then!

Name: Carvanha-Brazdian
Typing:

Abilities: Strong Jaw / Swift Swim / Flame Body (HA)
Base Stats: 45 / 85 / 20 / 55 / 20 / 80 (305)
Height/Weight: 0.6 m / 15 kg
Flavour/Design: Brazdian Carvanha more closely resembles a red-bellied piranha, with a greenish top half and a fiery red belly. It has one curved dorsal fin and a narrower tail. It's smaller and faster to flee when alone, but is just as vicious as regular Carvanha when in a group. When it must leave the water, its red belly flares and it becomes more aggressive. Evolves into Vampayrha at level 30.

Name: Vampayrha (based on vampire tetra or payara)
Typing:

Abilities: Strong Jaw / Swift Swim / Flame Body (HA)
Base Stats: 70 / 115 / 40 / 85 / 40 / 110 (460)
Notable Moves: Drain Fang*, Liquidation, Fire Fang, Ice Fang, Thunder Fang, Poison Fangs, Jaw Lock, Flare Blitz, Crunch, Psychic Fangs, Aqua Jet, Earthquake, Flip Turn
Drain Fang* - Ghost-type Leech Life, biting move
Distribution: Sharpedo line, Snorunt line, Hydreigon line, Lycanroc line, Silvally, Guzzlord, Crobat line, Noivern line, Mimikyu, Grimmsnarl line, Arbok line, Girafarig, Houndoom line, Mightyena line, Seviper, Huntail, Eelektross line, Gengar line, Banette line, Sabeleye, Giratina, Trevenant, Lunala, Dragapult line
Height/Weight: 1.5 m / 50 kg
Flavour/Design: Based on the payara, Vampayrha has a longer body with very long sharp fangs that protrude from its mouth. Its fangs impale and hold onto its target, after which it will continue biting until its victim faints or dies. When underwater, its belly can superheat its surroundings to a boil, both to protect itself and to attack.
Competitive: Vampayrha is very fragile but hits hard and fast with a wide range of Strong Jaw-boosted attacks, Jaw Lock, priority with Aqua Jet, and Flip Turn for pivoting.
Name: Mataruga (matamata, a species of turtle, + tartaruga, "turtle" in Portuguese)
Typing:

Abilities: Shell Armor / Rain Dish / Regenerator (HA)
Base Stats: 100 / 47 / 103 / 83 / 106 / 41 (480)
Notable Moves: Psychic, Psyshock, Hydro Pump, Scald, Recover, Future Sight, Energy Ball, Focus Blast, Shadow Ball, Ice Beam, Body Press, Iron Defense, Calm Mind, Teleport, Trick
Height/Weight:
Flavour/Design: Mataruga has a shell that resembles tree bark and leathery skin that resembles dead leaves, providing camouflage in the rivers and lakes they live in. Mataruga hide in wait for unwary fish Pokemon to swim by, blasting its prey with disorienting psychic energy before devouring them whole. If its presence is revealed, Mataruga simply teleports away to another spot.
Competitive: Mataruga fills the same niche as Slowbro/Slowking, a bulky pivot with Regenerator, reliable recovery, and Teleport. It doesn't deal as much damage, however, though it does have access to the Iron Defense + Body Press combo too.

Inspiration: So apparently, there's this thing known as a Myobatrachus, also known as a Turtle Frog. This is what it looks like.
Turtle Frog | Western Australian Museum
That's what this line is based on. Frotle combines the idea with mud and... I think I considered basing it on Smores? Myoblast was combining it with a tank, I guess the posture just made so much sense...

Name: Brazdan Swanna
Counterpart(s): Swanna
Typing:

Ability: Dazzling / Big Pecks / Swift Swim (HA)
Base Stats: 75 / 67 / 63 / 107 / 63 / 98 (473 BST)
Notable Moves: Swanna's movepool + Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Play Rough, Charm, Refresh, Captivate (Sky Attack removed)
Flavour/Design: Duckletts in Brazdo, much like flamingos, love to eat shrimp-like Pokemon like Claucher, and like flamingos, they start to turn pink as they do so. Eventually they eat so many shrimp-like Pokemon that when they evolve, the pristine white feathers of a Unovan Swanna are replaced by even more stunning pink feathers. And Brazdan Swannas adore their feathers. They take great care in keeping their beautiful plumage in top shape, cleaning it at every opportunity, keeping other Pokemon away from it, and eating as many shrimp-like Pokemon as they can. They expend so much time and energy eating to keep their pink color that they refrain from flying away from the rivers that house these Pokemon.
Potential Competitive Role: A pretty good option for a Swift Swimmer, with an even higher Special Attack stat than Kingdra, Ludicolo, and Mantine, and great coverage in Surf, Moonblast, Hurricane, and Ice Beam, simple as that. While frail, it's also not a bad offensive Defogger since it lacks a Rock weakness
Name: Corva (Cor (color) + Larva)
Counterpart(s): N/A
Typing:

Ability: Swarm / Damp / Run Away (HA)
Base Stats: 25 / 45 / 30 / 35 / 30 / 35 (200 BST)
Notable Moves: Tackle, Bug Bite, String Shot, Sweet Scent, Water Sport, Rage Powder
New Features: N/A
Flavour/Design: Based on zizula larva. They are pretty weak and their scent gives away their location a lot, so they must constantly look for hiding spots to get away from predators, usually favoring the water because it can mask their smell and bird Pokemon can't get into it, though fish Pokemon become a bit of a problem
Potential Competitive Role: It's a caterpillar lmao

Name: Clarosula (Claro (clear) + Casula (cocoon))
Counterpart(s): N/A
Typing:

Ability: Clear Body / Shield Dust / Overcoat (HA)
Base Stats: 45 / 50 / 85 / 45 / 65 / 10 (300 BST)
Notable Moves: Tackle, Bug Bite, String Shot, Sweet Scent, Water Sport, Rage Powder, Harden, Camouflage, Struggle Bug, Aqua Ring, Bug Buzz, Water Pulse, Water Gun, Rain Dance, Skitter Smack
New Features: N/A
Flavour/Design: Based on a cocoon. Corva need to be protected throughout their cocoon form in order to reach their final stage, so when they become Clarosulas, they employ an advanced camouflage technique, being able to appear invisible on the surface of water thanks to their almost completely clear color scheme. Thus, Clarosulas are usually safe from predators, though sometimes they fall victim to inadvertent attacks from fish Pokemon on the hunt
Potential Competitive Role: It's a cocoon lmao

Name: Zizazula (Zizula + Azul (blue))
Counterpart(s): N/A
Typing:

Ability: Clear Body / Damp / Swift Swim (HA)
Base Stats: 61 / 52 / 54 / 101 / 58 / 119 (445 BST)
Notable Moves: Hydro Pump, Camouflage, Bug Buzz, U-Turn, Stun Spore, Sleep Powder, Hurricane, Scald, Roost, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Calm Mind, Double Team, Giga Drain, Poison Powder, Agility, Mist, Haze, Skitter Smack, Surf, Dazzling Gleam
New Features: N/A
Flavour/Design: Based on the zizula. Zizazula share the same clear body trait as Clarosula's, being able to appear invisible when near water, allowing them to avoid predators when they're near their home rivers, or better yet, in the rain. Zizazulas are such precise flyers that they make sure to fly as close to raindrops as possible in order to appear as invisible as possible, this does, however, come with the caveat that Zizazulas are extremely frail if they do manage to get hit
Potential Competitive Role: Pretty similar to Ribombee, being a fast and fairly powerful Bug-type, but it trades Sticky Web and Quiver Dance for more useful abilities and Sleep Powder, making it a powerful and potentially very annoying Specs wallbreaker with a pretty good STAB combo and Ice Beam or Hurricane for coverage, with U-Turn to pivot out. Can also be a pretty good Rain sweeper with its high Special Attack, though you either have to lose power by holding Heavy-Duty Boots or get worn down fast with Life Orb or Specs
Name: Camucaiman (Camu Camu + Caiman)
Counterpart(s): N/A
Typing:

Ability: Bush Baby
Base Stats: 75 / 70 / 65 / 45 / 50 / 45 (350 BST)
Notable Moves: Outrage, Scale Shot, Draco Meteor, Binding Brambles, Pursuit, Seed Bomb, Camouflage, Grass Knot, Bullet Seed, Energy Ball, Ingrain, Thunder Fang, Crunch, Psychic Fangs, Curse, Taunt, Dragon Claw, Double-Edge, Water Sport, Iron Tail, Fling, Surf, Payback
Name: Bush Baby
Effect: This Pokémon's Grass-type moves do 50% more damage
Distribution: Camucaiman line

Name: Binding Brambles
Type:

Base Points: 80
Power Points: 16
Category: Physical
Accuracy: 100%
Miscellaneous: N/A
Effect: Traps the target
Distribution: Camucaiman line, Pansage line (Egg), Carnivine (Chain Breed), Shiftry (Egg)

Flavour/Design: Based on a caiman (which is like a crocodile) and the camu camu bush, both of which hang near water. Camucaimans are slow, but any Pokemon that hangs near the water has to be careful, as a Camucaiman could be lurking just about anywhere. To make up for their lacking speed, Camucaimans learned how to hide both in the water thanks to their ability to swim and on land by using brambles, branches, and leaves that they find on the ground near rivers and carry with them everywhere. These plants aren't a part of the Pokemon itself, like Comfey's lei or Farfetch'd's Leek, but they are an essential part of Camucaiman's lifestyle, using them to camouflage in bushes and trap Pokemon by entangling other Pokemon.
Potential Competitive Role: Its stats are only okay by LC standards, but the combination of Binding Brambles, Curse, and RestTalk can be annoying to deal with if the opponent isn't able to hit Camucaiman hard.

Name: Camucare (Camu Camu + Jacaré (alligator in Portuguese))
Counterpart(s): N/A
Typing:

Ability: Bush Baby
Base Stats: 115 / 105 / 105 / 55 / 80 / 60 (520 BST)
Notable Moves: Outrage, Scale Shot, Draco Meteor, Binding Brambles, Pursuit, Seed Bomb, Camouflage, Grass Knot, Bullet Seed, Energy Ball, Ingrain, Thunder Fang, Crunch, Psychic Fangs, Curse, Taunt, Dragon Claw, Double-Edge, Water Sport, Iron Tail, Fling, Surf, Aromatherapy, Leech Seed, Power Whip, Bulldoze, Payback
Name: Bush Baby
Effect: This Pokémon's Grass-type moves do 50% more damage
Distribution: Camucaiman line

Name: Binding Brambles
Type:

Base Points: 80
Power Points: 16
Category: Physical
Accuracy: 100%
Miscellaneous: N/A
Effect: Traps the target
Distribution: Camucaiman line, Pansage line (Egg), Carnivine (Chain Breed), Shiftry (Egg)

Flavour/Design: Based on a caiman (which is like a crocodile) and the camu camu bush, both of which hang near water. Camucares are still slow, but now they are even more dangerous to unsuspecting river Pokemon as they carry around their usual batch of brambles, branches, and leaves, and well as tasty berries that many Pokemon simply can't resist. This costly mistake will result in their entrapment in a tangle of brambles
Potential Competitive Role: Camucare can be a super annoying bulky Pokemon, with the combination of Binding Brambles and Leech Seed sapping away the targets HP with Camucare just sits there and either stalls with Protect, Toxic, and/or Taunt, or sets up with Curse. It's very passive without a boost, being a rare Dragon-type that can hardly do anything against Steel-types, and its special bulk is only pretty good for a wall, especially one without instant recovery, but if it gets its brambles on something it can abuse, you'll be in for a world of hurt.

Name: Terrotter (literally the words terror and otter combined)
Counterpart(s): Caimagon (Zangoose/Seviper situation)
Typing: Dark/Water
Abilities: Intimidate / Strong Jaw / Gluttony (HA)
Base Stats: 90/120/75/45/75/105 (BST: 510)
Notable Moves: Liquidation, Throat Chop, Crunch, Ice Fang, Poison Fang, Close Combat, Iron Tail, Outrage, Earthquake, Bulk Up, Hydro Fang
New Features: Hydro Fang: Water type, Physical, BP 75, biting move, has a 15% chance to lower the target's Defense
Height/Weight: 1.83 m / 45.4 kg
Flavor/Design: Terrotter is a large black otter with blue accents on its paws, lower jaw, belly, and tail. It is one of the apex predators of the Brazdo region's rivers, and it specializes in chasing fish down at mach speeds. Its jaws are very powerful and its teeth are nearly unbreakable. This not only helps it with catching prey, but with fighting its fellow apex predator and eternal rival, Caimagon. It is usually bipedal, but it goes on all fours when it swims.

Origin: This bad boy is based off of the giant river otter, which is native to Brazil. It is the largest species of otter, reaching up to almost 6 feet in length, and they are also super territorial, which is where its Dark-typing and the Intimidate ability come from. Giant river otters sometimes eat young black caimans, but they are also preyed upon by older ones. This is where its rivalry with Camaigon comes from.
Competitive: It's basically Mega Sharpedo 2.0. It isn't as powerful as Mega Sharpedo, but it can utilize its Water typing with its signature move Hydro Fang.

Name: Caimagon (caiman + dragon)
Counterpart(s): Terrotter (Zangoose/Seviper situation)
Typing: Dragon/Water
Abilities: Intimidate / Rough Skin / Battle Armor (HA)
Base Stats: 90/105/120/45/95/55 (BST: 510)
Notable Moves: Liquidation, Dragon Claw, Iron Tail, Crunch, Scale Shot, Autotomize, Outrage, Superpower, Ice Fang, Flip Turn, Scaly Shield
New Features: Scaly Shield: Dragon type, Status, protects the user and does a small amount of damage to foes who make contact with the shield
Height/Weight: 1.5 m / 95 kg
Flavor/Design: Caimagon is a large black crocodillian Pokemon with blue accents around its eyes, on its back, and on its tail. It is one of the apex predators of the Brazdo region's rivers, and is skilled at sneaking up on fish from behind. Its scales are very hard and tough, which helps protect it during fights with Terrotter, its fellow apex predator and eternal rival.
Origin: This fella is based off of the black caiman, one of the largest crocodilians and another Brazil native apex predator. It's a Dragon type because crocodilians have always looked kinda draconic to me lol. Black caimans sometimes eat giant river otters, but smaller ones are also preyed upon by giant river otters. This is where its rivalry with Terrotter comes from.

Competitive: With its great typing (only two weaknesses), two fantastic abilities in Intimidate and Rough Skin, great defenses, and its signature move Scaly Shield, Caimagon is a fantastic defensive glue mon. You can run Scaly Shield/Flip Turn sets to cripple an offensive threat and get something else in. You could also run Scale Shot/Autotomize set-up sets if you want to go offensive.

Name: Croagunk-Brazdian
Counterpart(s): Croagunk-Sinnoh
Typing: Poison
Abilities: Anticipation / Dry Skin / Corrosion (HA)
Base Stats: 48/40/61/40/61/50 (BST: 300)

Removed Moves: All Fighting moves, Ice Punch, ThunderPunch
Flavor/Design: Brazdian Croagunk closely resembles its Sinnohan variant, but with a nervous expression and a small tail like a tadpole's. Brazdian Croagunk is said to be the original form of Croagunk. They are much more timid than Sinnohan Croagunks, and will flee at the smallest rustling of a leaf. The poison that they secrete from their skin, however, is one of the most potent toxins on the planet. Just a drop of the stuff is enough to incapitate a Garchomp for a week! Brazdian Croagunks are most often found along the riverbeds of Brazdo, relaxing in the mud. These mud baths allow it to absorb dirt and toxins, which increases the potency of its poison. They come in many different color combinations, from black and yellow to red and blue. Just like with the Flabebe line, the color combo of a Brazdian Croagunk is determined by the location where you caught it.

Brazdian Croagunk evolves into Batratoad when leveled up while knowing Toxic.

Name: Batratoad (batrachotoxin, one of the many poisons poison dart frogs secrete, + toad)
Counterpart(s): Toxicroak
Typing: Poison/Ground
Abilities: Liquid Ooze / Dry Skin / Corrosion (HA)
Base Stats: 93/65/106/65/106/55 (BST: 490)

Notable Moves: Toxic, Venom Drench, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Poison Jab, Earthquake, Earth Power, Muddy Water, Corrosive Gas, Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Taunt, Toxic Mud
New Features: Toxic Mud, Poison type, Special, 70 BP, can hit Steel types and has a 10% chance of poisoning
Flavor/Design: A large, fat toad Pokemon with a sleepy expression. When Brazdian Croagunk evolves into Batratoad, all of the mud it had absorbed in its mud baths combines with the toxins in its skin, creating raised bumps that look a lot like warts. Sometimes these warts break open, causing the poison/dirt mixture to seep out like pus. It is said that if you lay even a single finger on a Batratoad's warts, you will be infected with a slew of terrible diseases. Despite the images that these horrible tales paint, Batratoad is actually a very docile Pokemon who is more than happy to be left alone, soaking up mud on the riverbanks. Like its prevo, Batratoad comes in a variety of color combinations.

Origin: Poison dart frogs are very common in Brazil, so I decided to combine it with the old urban myth that toads have poisonous warts. It felt only right to make this boy a regional variant of Croagunk, the original poisonous frog.

Competitive: Batratoad is a tanky, tanky boi. Its job is to Toxic everything it sees and then some. This includes other Poison and Steel types, thanks to Corrosion. You can also run Dry Skin to turn one of its weaknesses into an immunity, making it even tankier. Even then, you can still poison Steel types thanks to its new signature move, Toxic Mud.

Name: Basculin-Brazdian
Counterpart(s): Basculin-Unova
Type: Water/Steel
Abilities: Reckless / Iron Jaw / Adaptability (HA) (Red-Striped Form); Rock Head / Iron Jaw / Adaptability (HA) (Blue-Striped Form)
Base Stats: 70/92/65/80/55/98 (BST: 460)
Notable Moves: Liquidation, Flip Turn, Scale Shot, Iron Head, Ice Fang, Psychic Fangs, Crunch
New Features: Iron Jaw - The Pokemon's biting moves ignore type resistances

Flavor/Design: Brazdian Basculin look fairly similar to Unovan Basculin, but they are slightly smaller and have smaller fins. Their jaws, however, are now a dark grey, and look a lot like a boat's hull. When they were first introduced to Brazdo, Basculin suffered greatly thanks to the increase in competitors for food. This meant that they had to resort to eating the bones of carcasses that predators like Terrotter and Caimagon had long picked clean. However, this repeated bone crunching strengthened the bones in their jaws, and eventually made them as strong as metal. Red-Striped Brazdian Basculin and Blue-Striped Brazdian Basculin are no longer rivals. The two forms can now be found in the same schools. as they have learned that survival is more important than picking fights.

Brazdian Basculin evolves into Piranvage starting at Level 39 while it is holding a Metal Coat.

Name: Piranvage (piranha + pirate + ravage)
Counterpart(s): None
Type: Water/Steel

Abilities: Reckless / Iron Jaw / Adaptability (HA) (Red-Bellied Form); Rock Head / Iron Jaw / Adaptability (HA) (Blue-Bellied Form)
Base Stats: 70/112/95/80/55/108 (BST: 520)
Notable Moves: Brazdian Basculin's moves + Outrage, Close Combat, Drill Run
New Features: Iron Jaw - The Pokemon's biting moves ignore type resistances
Flavor/Design: Piranvage is a bright green piranha Pokemon. Its jaw is made completely out of metal, and it has a large overbite with two metal fangs sticking out on top. Depending on the form of Basculin it evolved from, its belly is either red or blue. The names of its forms have been changed to suit this. Only the strongest and fastest member of a school of Brazdian Basculin can evolve into a Piranvage. It leads its school in patrols of the Brazdian riverbeds, looking for any unsuspecting fish Pokemon. When it spots one, it devours it in a matter of seconds, leaving the bones behind for its Basculin lackeys to feast on. Even Terrotter and Caimagon stop fighting and flee if they see a Piranvage, which then takes the opportunity to eat the kill that the former two had abandoned.

Origin: It's just a piranha combined with a boat's hull. Nothing much to say here, really.

Competitive: Piranvage is a fantastic wallbreaker, with some great coverage and its new ability allowing it to break through would-be checks and counters. However, it is a bit too weak and slow compared to, say, Barraskewda, it's still pretty frail (especially on the special side), and it has a lot of common weakness (i.e. Electric and Fighting). Most likely a UU or RU mon.

Ability: Dazzling / Swift Swim | Water Veil
Base Stats: 69 / 104 / 76 / 69 / 81 / 121
Notable Moves: Play Rough, Close Combat, Flip Turn, Liquidation, Zen Headbutt
New Features: Flare Up. Status. 20 PP. The user tries to intimidate the foe. If the user's Atk > or equal to foe's Atk, foe's defense drops. If not, user's speed rises.

Flavor: The harsh jungles of Brazadan caused the Finneon population to become increasingly aggressive. The most respected warrior fish are also the brightest to shine.

Competitive: A unique Swift Swim option as it doesn't overlap in typing, being able to hit Steels and Dragons with STAB. Outside of rain, Dazzling blocks priority from attacking its low bulk. Or, Water Veil provides a burn immunity, allowing it not to fear Scalds.

Potential Competitive Role: 100/95/95 isn't shabby defenses at all for a Strength Sap poison type. It can U-Turn and set all 3 hazards so use it carefully.

Stats: 65/105/65/105/65/110 (515)
Added Moves: Sap Strength, Bulk Up, Iron Head, Close Combat, Nasty Plot, Bulk Up
Potential Competitive Role: 100+ in all offensive stats is great. Boom Burst and Gunk Blast are brutally strong. The coverage needs help. Corrosive can help a lot as steel, ghost and rock types or Earthquake if those types aren't airborne. Probably wishes it had a fire move.

This line is based on both the Frog Prince and the many, MANY colorful poison frogs of South America. It starts as a tadpole peon then becomes a prince(ss), then a king or queen. It combines royalty with colorful dart frog patterns.

Mermaydon
Typing:

Stats: 95/120/75/30/75/110 (545)
Added Moves: Focus Punch, Waterfall, Thunderpunch, Earthquake, Rockslide, Stone Edge, Sword Dance, Dragon Dance

Potential Competitive Role: A fairly straightforward Water/Fight type sweeper with good setup moves and the potential ability to get around Water Resistant/Immune Ghosts like Jellicent. This mon sweeps with water and Fight. Poliwrath wishes it was this good, but its defenses aren't the best. Water resistant flying types can be hell to get around, as can Fairies if you don't take Thunderpunch or Poison Jab.

Its a wartorn mermaid creature based on Greek warrior legends of the Myrmidons. Is that not cool enough?

Base Stats: 75 / 45 / 60 / 90 / 55 / 110 (Total: 435)
Notable Moves: Hydro Pump, Scald, Ice Beam, Tail Slap, U-Turn
Flavor/Design: A larger pink dolphin. It evolves from Minphin at Level 30.

Name: Skewmar (Skewer + Marlin)
Typing:
/

Ability: Skewer (Hidden: Hydration)
Base Stats: 86 / 145 / 73 / 90 / 71 / 65 (Total: 520)
Notable Moves: Flip Turn, Liquidation, Waterfall, U-Turn, Drill Run, Solar Blade, Skull Bash, Spike Bayonet
New Features: Skewer: When hit by a Contact move while using a multi-turn attack, the attacker loses 12.5% of its max HP.
Spike Bayonet
Type: Steel/Physical
BP: 120
Accuracy: 90
Effect: Waits one turn and raises Attack, then attacks.
Flavor/Design: A marlin with a large steel spike sticking out from its nose. It evolves from Dolphlair at Level 42.
Potential Competitive Role: Wallbreaker and/or slow pivot. Potentially viable in OU, but if not then solid in UU.

Name: Olmen (Olm + Omen)
Typing:
/

Ability:
Unaware / Cursed Body (Hidden: Aftermath)
Base Stats: 48 / 83 / 42 / 50 / 77 / 60 (Total: 360)
Notable Moves: Waterfall, Aqua Tail, Liquidation, Flip Turn, Aqua Jet, Aqua Ring, Soak, Poltergeist, Shadow Sneak, Lick, Curse, Night Shade, Ice Fang, Psychic Fangs, Toxic, Taunt, Strength Sap, Dragon Dance
Flavor/Design: A small white olm. Olmen lives in underground lakes and near the ocean floor. It was considered one of the most terrifying Pokemon to see in centuries past, although historians aren't sure whether that was due to its Ghost typing or its regressed eyes.

Name: Olminous (Olm + Ominous)
Typing:
/

Ability: Unaware / Cursed Body (Hidden: Aftermath)
Base Stats: 73 / 128 / 62 / 70 / 117 / 105 (Total: 555)
Notable Moves: Waterfall, Aqua Tail, Liquidation, Flip Turn, Aqua Jet, Aqua Ring, Soak, Poltergeist, Phantom Force, Shadow Sneak, Lick, Curse, Night Shade, Ice Fang, Psychic Fangs, Outrage, Toxic, Taunt, Strength Sap, Dragon Dance
Flavor/Design: A larger black olm with purple rays emanating from its eyes. It evolves from Olmen at Level 45. Olminous occasionally ventures towards the surface in order to hunt Goldeen and Carvanha. It has developed a sense of vision, but only uses it when it absolutely needs it.
Potential Competitive Role: Olminous has a LOT going for it - outstanding Attack, great Speed, and solid Special bulk are just the beginning. It can function as a priority user, a pivot, a Dragon Dance sweeper, or just an annoying bastard with Unaware, Toxic, Taunt, and Strength Sap at its disposal. The main thing Olminous has going for it is its unpredictability; it can perform several different roles well, and while none are particularly overpowering, mispredicting what set it's running could very well spell doom for a whole team. It's almost a lock for OU, and maybe a fringe option for Ubers as well.

I'm in the process of putting together the Cruchick line's level-up movepool. It will be posted here when I'm done.

Heard Hoatzin chicks dive into the water so gonna resub this especially since well we don't have a hoatzin so (also highly repurposed since the bird lines tend to only have mid-evos if they're the early game birds or if they're starters)
Name: Toazin (Partial anagram of Hoatzin rearranged to sound like Toxin)
Typing:

Ability: Stench / Tough Claws / Swift Swim
Base Stats: 40 / 71 / 47 / 30 / 45 / 52 (BST 285)
Notable Moves: Wing Attack, Belch, Roost, Brave Bird, Poison Jab, Aerial Ace, Scratch, Dive, Feather Dance
Height/Weight: 0.4m / 0.8kg
Flavour/Design: A small, chartreuse colored bird mon with seafoam green around the eyes and a yellow beak, plus a purple stripe down its back. A purple talon adorns the tips of each wing, with each wing being black on the back. It can't fly that well, and instead ascends by climbing trees. It also doesn't smell the best, and this helps ward off would-be predators. The claws are indeed poisonous, but they just merely irritate the spot that they scratched. It seems to be a highly adept swimmer, but this only shows when it hides in the water from predators that attack in spite of its scent.

Name: Opisthoclaw (Opisthocomus/Opisthocomidae/Opisthocomiforme + Claw)
Typing:

Ability: Stench / Tough Claws / Swift Swim
Base Stats: 70 / 111 / 77 / 60 / 75 / 82 (BST 475)
Notable Moves: See Toazin, plus Cross Poison, Dragon Claw, Throat Chop
Height/Weight: 1.3m / 20kg
Flavour/Design: Now larger, its claws are now hidden underneath its wings, but though less dextrous with moving the claws relative to their position on the wing, the venom lacing them is even more dangerous than from before it evolved, the wings themselves more dextrous as a tradeoff of sorts. It is now a distinct golden yellow with sky-blue feathers around its eyes and an orange mohawk, plus a white beak too. A bit of research has suggested that the common ancestor between Opisthoclaw and the closest living species to it dates to roughly a couple million years after the worldwide populations of Omastar and Tyrantrum were wiped, though the common ancestor of course is more recent in the fossil record than the likes of Archen. Its back is now completely purple, with a massive pink line going down it. Still herbivorous, it can puncture a berry to the point at which it can split it open after the fact, but it tends to conceal its claws for whatever reason, perhaps to get the jump on Brazdan Paras, though attacking its evolutions is a bit too close for comfort in the case of Parasect and an absolute no-go in the case of Parascend.
Potential Competitive Role: You can either run Swift Swim or Tough Claws. Whatever floats your boat.

Looking through creatures that live in the Amazon river I found this...
Name: Sangreech
Typing:

Ability: Infiltrator / Swarm | Merciless (HA)
Base Stats: 55 / 105 / 95 / 50 / 80 / 90 (Total: 475)
Notable Moves: *Leech Lock, Leech Life, First Impression, Flip Turn, Liquidation, Poison Jab, Coil, Toxic, Surf, Scald, Gastro Acid
Leech Lock - 90 BP | Bug | Physical | 100% Acc. | 10-16 PP | Traps foe, and inflicts a residual effect identical to Leech Seed. Only Magic Guard pokemon are immune, and it only remains while Sangreech stays on the field. Like other forms of trapping, Substitute breaks the effect. Can only have 1 target at once.
Flavor/Design: Leech Pokemon
Potential Competitive Role: Although its stats are somewhat lacking, with its low HP it can take advantage of the powerful secondary effect that its signature move carries. It can trap, Poison, and critical hit foes to death thanks to Merciless as well (or Infiltrator lets it poison foes behind Substitute).

Custom Features: Titanium Pulse: Special, 85 power, Pulse Move, no additional effect.

Inspiration: So apparently, there's this thing known as a Myobatrachus, also known as a Turtle Frog. This is what it looks like.View attachment 308776 That's what this line is based on.

Name: Brazadan Finneon
Type: Fairy/Fighting
Ability: Dazzling / Swift Swim | Water Veil
Base Stats: 39 / 69 / 46 / 39 / 51 / 86
Notable Moves: Play Rough, Close Combat, Flip Turn, Liquidation, Zen Headbutt

Name: Brazadan Lumineon
Ability: Dazzling / Swift Swim | Water Veil
Base Stats: 59 / 89 / 66 / 59 / 76 / 111

Tadpeol
Typing:

Potential Competitive Role: 100/95/95 isn't shabby defenses at all for a Strength Sap poison type. It can U-Turn and set all 3 hazards so use it carefully.

Frongce
Typing:

Abilities: Dry Skin/Corrosive (Sun Strider - Chlorophyl clone)
Stats: 50/80/55/70/55/80 (390)

Name: Minphin (Mini + Dolphin)

Base Stats: 75 / 45 / 60 / 90 / 55 / 110 (Total: 435)
Notable Moves: Hydro Pump, Scald, Ice Beam, Tail Slap, U-Turn
Flavor/Design: A larger pink dolphin. It evolves from Minphin at Level 30.

Name: Skewmar (Skewer + Marlin)
Typing:

Typing:

Alright, voting is closed! The winners are the lines of Emergence's Brazdian Carvanha, KirbyRider1337's Toazin, and Ema Skye's Brazdian Finneon...

Name: Brazadan Finneon
Type: Fairy/Fighting
Ability: Dazzling / Swift Swim | Water Veil
Base Stats: 39 / 69 / 46 / 39 / 51 / 86
Notable Moves: Play Rough, Close Combat, Flip Turn, Liquidation, Zen Headbutt

Name: Brazadan Lumineon
Ability: Dazzling / Swift Swim | Water Veil
Base Stats: 59 / 89 / 66 / 59 / 76 / 111
Notable Moves: Play Rough, Close Combat, Flip Turn, Liquidation, Zen Headbutt

Name: Bettalesense [Betta + luminescence)

And for the next slate...

Jungles and Forests!
:shroomish: :bellsprout: :impidimp:
The next slate will include Pokemon meant for forests or jungles. The most obvious idea is to do a general plant Pokemon, but there's a lot you can do with an idea like this, as seen with Pokemon like Impidimp as an example. Get creative here, but make sure it still fits the theme of a wooded area! Also, this slate will have submissions until the 3rd, but I'll give another warning in advance.

Name: Levipilosa (Levitate + Pilosa (Order that anteaters and sloths belong to))
Counterpart(s): N/A
Typing:

Ability: Tree-Topper / Telepathy (HA)
Base Stats: 120 / 55 / 80 / 90 / 80 / 20 (BST: 445)
Notable Moves: Telekinesis, Gravity, Calm Mind, Slack Off, Psychic, Psyshock, Hypnosis, Shadow Ball, Thunder, Focus Blast, Rest, Sleep Talk, Thunderbolt, Charge Beam, Helping Hand, Trick Room, Yawn, Dark Pulse, Thunder Wave
New Features: Tree-Topper - When this Pokémon is on the field, all Pokémon on the field are under the effect , of Telekinesis. This can be overwritten by moves or items that cause Pokémon to be grounded
Flavor/Design: Based on a tree sloth. Levipilosas are extremely smart, but also extremely lazy. Thus, they use their power and laziness to achieve all of their day-to-day tasks, from levitating up to the tops of trees to eat leaves and telepathically floating away Pokemon that bother them, Levipilosas do anything they can to do as little as they can
Potential Competitive Role: If you didn't know, the Telekinesis effect is basically Levitate + No Guard, giving Levipilosa some very interesting qualities. It has the coveted 100% accurate sleep move in perfect accuracy Hypnosis and some good powerful low accuracy moves in Focus Blast and Thunder. This also gives Levipilosa an effective Ground-immunity without giving it a Stealth Rock weakness or vulnerability to Mold Breaker, which is very nice. Levipilosa does come with a lot of weaknesses, with Psychic not being that good of a defensive typing, its pretty weak 90 Special Attack, and its abysmal Speed that guarantees that it'll take a hit first, but it should still be an interesting Pokemon to use.
Name: Ampeck (Ampere + Peck)
Counterpart(s): N/A
Typing:

Ability: Big Pecks / Lightning Rod / Serene Grace (HA)
Base Stats: 60 / 45 / 70 / 75 / 65 / 40 (355 BST)
Notable Moves: Air Slash, Discharge, Defog, Roost, Thunderbolt, Rain Dance, U-Turn, Volt Switch, Heat Wave, Tailwind, Thunder Wave, Feather Dance, Dual Wingbeat, Rising Voltage, Taunt, Eerie Impulse, Parabolic Charge, Thunder, Hurricane
New Features: N/A
Flavor/Design: WIP (Based on a quetzal)
Potential Competitive Role: It has a pretty high Special Attack stat by LC standards, so that combined with very good bulk and a pretty good offensive typing can make it a pretty good tank

Name: Electzal (Electric + Quetzal)
Counterpart(s): N/A
Typing:

Ability: Big Pecks / Lightning Rod / Serene Grace (HA)
Base Stats: 80 / 50 / 125 / 105 / 95 / 50 (505 BST)
Notable Moves: Air Slash, Discharge, Defog, Roost, Thunderbolt, Rain Dance, U-Turn, Volt Switch, Heat Wave, Tailwind, Thunder Wave, Feather Dance, Dual Wingbeat, Rising Voltage, Taunt, Eerie Impulse, Parabolic Charge, Thunder, Hurricane
New Features: N/A
Flavor/Design: WIP (Based on a quetzal)
Potential Competitive Role: Electzal basically has all the best qualities of defensive Zapdos but replace Static with two great ability choices in Lightning Rod to give it another immunity or Serene Grace to get 60% paras with Discharge or 20% burns with Heat Wave.
Name: Napi (Nap + Capybara)
Counterpart(s): N/A
Typing:

Ability: Truant
Base Stats: 60 / 50 / 50 / 50 / 50 / 20 (280 BST)
Notable Moves: Adaptable Attack, Yawn, Entrainment, Super Fang, Body Press, Charm, Rest, Sleep Talk, Work Up
Name: Adaptable Attack
Type:

Base Points: 80
Power Points: 16
Category: Physical
Accuracy: 100%
Miscellaneous: N/A
Effect: If the user's Attack is higher, this move is physical and has a 20% chance to lower the target's Defense by 1. If the user's Special Attack is higher, the move is Special and has a 20% chance to lower the target's Special Defense by 1
Distribution: Napi line, Pidgey line, Beedrill, Pichu line, Nidoran-M line, Nidoran-F line, Igglybuff line, Meowth line, Drowzee line, Lickitung line, Kingdra, Eevee line, Porygon line, Azurill line, Girafarig, Stantler, Lotad line, Seedot line, Skitty line, Meditite line, Gulpin line, Spinda, Corphish line, Castform, Bidoof line, Burmy line, Lucario, Rotom, Regigigas, Pansage line, Pansear line, Panpour line, Pidove line, Audino, Braviary, Meloetta, Litleo line, Furfrou, Aegislash, Skrelp line, Helioptile line, Amaura line, Pikipek line, Silvally, Boltund, Sinistea line, Indeedee

Flavor/Design: Based on a capybara. While a trainer has to go pretty out of their way to find one, Napis are one of the most sought after pets in Brazdo due to their high level of cuteness, ease of caring for due to them not being very active, and they can even help their owner fall asleep. In the wild, they are basically always tired, but their cuteness can keep them from being eaten by predators most of the time.
Potential Competitive Role: It has Truant, moving on...

Name: Napikara (Nap + Capybara + Care)
Counterpart(s): Napiscara
Typing:

Ability: Sweet Dreams

Effect: If any Pokemon on the field is asleep at the end of the turn, including this Pokemon, this Pokemon gains 12.5% of its max HP. This effect is only applied once
Distribution: Napicara, Cresselia (HA)

Flavor/Design: WIP (Capybara that protects Napis and other sleeping Pokemon by constantly healing them and making sure they have a good night's sleep)
Potential Competitive Role: WIP (Calm Mind + RestTalk - The Pokemon)

Name: Napiscara (Nap + Capybara + Scary)
Counterpart(s): Napikara

Flavor/Design: WIP (Capybara that torments competitors in the wild while they're sleeping in order to drive them away from their Napi offspring.)
Potential Competitive Role: WIP (Hit a Hypnosis, Swords Dance up while Bad Dreams breaks a Focus Sash, then sweep)

Napi evolves into Napikara when exposed to a Shiny Stone, and into Napiscara when exposed to a Dusk Stone

Name: Monscreech (monkey + screech)
Counterpart(s): N/A
Type: Normal
Ability: Rattled / Soundproof (HA)
Base Stats: 50 / 45 / 45 / 70 / 45 / 65 (BST: 320)

Flavor/Design: Monscreech is a small blue monkey with completely pitch-black eyes. Monscreech are born with very malformed eyeballs, so they have to rely on sound to make their way around the treetops of Brazdo. They make vocalizations to communicate with others of their species. They're still young, though, so they don't realize how loud they're actually being.

Monscreech evolves into Aloudent starting at Level 26.

Name: Aloudent (Alouatta, the genus that howler monkeys belong to, + dent)
Counterpart(s): N/A
Type: Normal/Psychic

Abilities: Punk Rock / Soundproof (HA)
Base Stats: 70 / 65 / 65 / 105 / 65 / 105 (BST: 485)
Notable Moves: Boomburst, Hyper Voice, Psychic, Psyshock, Focus Blast, Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse, Headsplitter
New Features: Headsplitter: 130 BP, Normal type, Special, Sound move, lowers user's Defense and Special Defense
Flavor/Design: Aloudent is a medium-size baby blue howler monkey with completely pitch-black eyes. The top of its head looks narrower than the lower part, almost as if someone squished it. Evolution caused Aloudent's malformed eyes to press into the sides of its skull, making it appear as if it has two dents on the sides of its skull. These dents give Aloudent nearly constant migraines, which in turn causes it to be constantly howling out in pain. Weirdly, though, Aloudent's howls actually sound quite melodic and soothing. One composer even sampled Aloudent's howling for a film soundtrack. The migraines also give Aloudent psychic powers, including the ability to see into the future. It's in so much pain, however, that its visions of the future are very blurry. It can see a bit better than its pre-evolution, but its eyesight is still pretty poor.
Origin: This line is based off of howler monkeys, one of the largest species of New World monkeys, which are native to the Amazon Rainforest. It also takes inspiration from 2D of Gorillaz. It's silly, I know, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to make a reference to my favorite band.
Competitive: STAB Punk Rock boosted Boombursts coming from this thing hurt like a buttcheek on a stick. However, it's also frailer than a rotten piece of wood, it has to rely on Focus Miss to hit Steels, and its Speed tier makes it prone to getting revenge killed. UU at the absolute best.

Name: Peccarious (peccary + precarious)
Counterpart(s): N/A
Type: Ground/Grass
Abilities: Reckless / Vigilante / Grass Pelt (HA)
Base Stats: 80 / 135 / 94 / 50 / 86 / 40 (BST: 485)
Notable Moves: Earthquake, High Horsepower, Seed Bomb, Wood Hammer, Close Combat, Superpower, Double-Edge, Wild Charge, Zen Headbutt, Iron Head, Outrage, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Head Smash, Terra Charge

New Features: Vigilante: Increases the power of Fighting-type moves used by this Pokémon by 50% (Fighting-type version of Steelworker)
Terra Charge: 120 BP, Ground type, Physical, contact move, does 1/3rd of damage dealt as recoil, 10% chance to lower target's Speed (Also learned by the Rhyhorn, Mudkip, Numel, Swinub, and Mudbray lines)
Flavor/Design: Peccarious is a small brown pig-like Pokémon that is covered in sharp, green bristles, similar to the needles of a pine tree. Its hooves and the sides of its snout are covered in mud, and it has a small scar over its right eye. Despite its small size, Peccarious is very adventurous and brave, and fancies itself as "the superhero of the jungle". They will charge headfirst into any situation that has the slightest hint of danger. More often than not, however, these attempts at saving the day only result in Peccarious getting injured. It's very optimistic, though; no matter how many times it gets beaten up, it never loses its courage and its love for saving people and Pokémon alike.
Origin: Peccarious is based on peccaries, which are these tiny animals that closely resemble pigs and they're so cute omg I want thirty of them. It is specifically based on the white-lipped peccary, which can be found in rainforests all over South America, including Brazil. They can be pretty aggressive, which influences part of their personality, but I also thought it would be really funny to see a tiny pig acting like Batman. Also I got the idea for the name at like 12AM and I'm super proud of it
Competitive: Peccarious is essentially the physical-attacker version of Drampa; a sky-high Attack stat and amazing coverage, but poor defenses and very, very low Speed. Peccarious's 4x weakness to one of the most common moves in the game (Ice Beam) doesn't help it either. Ground/Grass/Fighting STAB (thanks to Vigilante) is still pretty good, or you could run Reckless to fire off incredibly powerful Wood Hammers and Terra Charges. Still probably an NU mon at best.

Name: Joltik-Brazdo
Counterpart(s): Joltik-Unova
Type: Bug/Dark
Abilities: Birdeater / Unnerve / Swarm (HA)
Base Stats: 50 / 57 / 50 / 47 / 50 / 65 (BST: 319)
Moves: Joltik-Unova's moveset, -all Electric moves, +Throat Chop, Crunch, Knock Off, Dark Pulse, Night Slash, Taunt, Lash Out

New Features: Birdeater: The damage this Pokémon does if doubled if the opponent is a Flying-type.
Flavor/Design: Brazdian Joltik is similar to its Unovan counterpart, but its fur is now a light tan color, its eyes are bright red, and it is much, much larger. Joltik was introduced to Brazdo as part of an initiative to increase the amount of Bug-type Pokémon in the Brazdian forests. Unfortunately, Joltik quickly became the favorite food of the bird Pokémon in Brazdo, and it was thought that the introduction would be a failure. The few remaining Joltik quickly began to adapt, however. They began to specialize in hunting bird Pokémon themselves, and soon the tides were turned.

Brazdian Joltik evolves into Taranliath when it defeats ten Flying-type Pokemon in a row.

Name: Taranliath (tarantula + goliath)
Counterpart(s): Galvantula
Type: Bug/Dark

Abilities: Birdeater / Intimidate / Swarm (HA)
Base Stats: 70 / 127 / 60 / 47 / 60 / 128 (BST: 472)
Notable Moves: Joltik-Brazdo's moveset + First Impression, Rock Slide
New Features: Birdeater: The damage this Pokémon does if doubled if the opponent is a Flying-type.
Flavor/Design: Taranliath is a gigantic light brown spider Pokémon. Its eyes are a deep crimson and it has two small yet sharp fangs protruding from its mouth. Taranliath is the culmination of Brazdian Joltik's desire to take revenge on the bird Pokémon that nearly hunted its species to extinction. It lives in the treetops of Brazdo and hides in the nests of bird Pokémon, its light brown coloration matching perfectly with the sticks these nests are made out of. When the bird Pokémon returns to its nest, it makes it move, jumping out from the sticks and sinking its fangs into the bird Pokémon's chest. Taranliath's hatred of Flying-type Pokémon is so strong that if it is on the same team as a Flying-type Pokémon, it will completely ignore its opponents and try to attack its teammate instead.
Origin: This line is based on the Goliath bird-eating spider, a member of the tarantula family that is native to South American rainforests and is the largest spider in the world. Contrary to its name, the Goliath bird-eating spider only preys on birds occasionally, so I thought it would be fun to base this Pokémon on the question "What if this urban myth was true?".
Competitive: Taranliath has excellent Attack and Speed, two powerful STAB priority moves in First Impression and Sucker Punch, and access to Intimidate to improve its otherwise awful physical bulk. Birdeater seems like a great ability at first glance, but Taranliath is still weak to Flying, meaning that it's a double-edged sword at best. This combined with its bad special bulk and inability to hit Steel-types keeps it in UU at best.

GET STICK BUGGED LOL
Name: Stickler
Typing:

Ability: Tinted Lens / Grassy Cloak / Swarm
Base Stats: 35 / 50 / 70 / 30 / 30 / 60 (BST 245)
Notable Moves: U-Turn, Wood Hammer, Branch Poke, Bug Bite, Iron Defense, Camouflage, Grassy Glide, Swords Dance
New Features: Grassy Cloak is x1.25 Evasion in Grassy Terrain, kinda like Snow Cloak and Sand Veil, but obviously is gonna be banned. Foongus line also gets it.
Flavour/Design: It's basically reminiscent of a stick but with six legs and two antennae. There's also two spikes on its back, but they aren't sharp at all and seem to have no use as of current...

Name: Woodensect
Typing:

Ability: Tinted Lens / Grassy Cloak / Chlorophyll
Base Stats: 75 / 90 / 110 / 65 / 65 / 100 (BST 505)
Notable Moves: Same as Stickler, plus Dual Wingbeat
New Features: Grassy Cloak is x1.25 Evasion in Grassy Terrain, kinda like Snow Cloak and Sand Veil, but obviously is gonna be banned. Foongus line also gets it.
Flavour/Design: Now a bigger stick bug, the appendages on its back have each developed a leaf that can shroud its entire body. Of course, it still can't fly. The line's preferred habitat is in normal forests. Scientists are still to this day trying to figure out whether Woodensect was originally a Grass-type that imitated Bug-types like Lurantis and adopted the type or a Bug-type that merged with the foliage like Sewaddle.
Potential Competitive Role: Tinted Lens Wood Hammer is... honest to god scary.

Name: Sasguari (sasquatch + mapinguari, Brazilian Bigfoot)
Typing:

Abilities: Tangling Hair / Stench / Unnerve (HA)
Base Stats: 100 / 101 / 123 / 68 / 78 / 60 (530)
Notable Moves: Darkest Lariat, Knock Off, Double-Edge, Slack Off, Zen Headbutt, Earthquake, Stone Edge, Superpower, Seed Bomb, Fire Punch, Thunder Punch, Ice Punch, Drain Punch, Body Press, Bulk Up, Memento
Height/Weight: 2 m / 100 kg
Flavour/Design: Sasquari is a large, bipedal creature like a sasquatch with the coloring of a gorilla, but with long and shaggy black hair. Sasguari's shyness and rarity has made it the focal point of many mysteries.
Competitive: Sasguari is a physically tanky attacker with moves like Knock Off, Slack Off, Body Press, and Bulk Up, along with many coverage moves.
Name: Yummee (yummy)
Typing:

Abilities: Sweet Veil / Weak Armor / Aroma Veil (HA)
Base Stats: 51 / 44 / 63 / 40 / 67 / 50 (315)
Height/Weight: 0.4 m / 5 kg
Flavour/Design: Yummee looks like a square of chocolate partially wrapped in hard foil, which also forms two stubby legs. Yummee can be found in the jungle, hiding in groups among flowers or under berry trees. It emits a pleasant, sweet odor that often attracts bug or bird Pokemon as well as people. When under attack, it pulls more foil over its chocolatey body to protect itself while trying to roll away. If that doesn't work, Yummee can launch pieces of its foil at attackers. Evolves into Chocaolee at level 33.

Name: Chocaolee (chocolatey + cacao)
Typing:

Abilities: Sweet Veil / Iron Fist / Aroma Veil (HA)
Base Stats: 77 / 79 / 108 / 54 / 112 / 65 (495)
Notable Moves: Play Rough, Iron Head, Meteor Mash, Aromatherapy, Recover, Autotomize, Bullet Punch, Metal Burst, Fire Punch, Thunder Punch, Ice Punch, Drain Punch, Encore, Bulk Up
Height/Weight: 0.8 m / 12 kg
Flavour/Design: Chocaolee is a larger square of chocolate that has grown strong foil arms, though its legs are still short and stubby. It still attracts Pokemon with its sweet smell, but it can now defend itself better with its arms, punching much harder than its size would suggest. Chocaolee can also be seen protecting groups of Yummee or other small Pokemon from predatory Pokemon.
Competitive: Chocaolee has solid bulk with a good defensive typing with reliable recovery and support options in Aromatherapy and Encore. Its base offenses are weak but it can likely find set up opportunities to use Bulk Up, and it has strong offensive moves in STAB Play Rough and Meteor Mash with priority Bullet Punch or punching coverage moves.
