The excuse provided doesn't explain HH's presence in the Dead Mafia thread. Therefore there are only two possible explanations.
1. HH was linked to the thread by a buddy in scumchat and was caught by Hal
2. HH was there coincidentally going down some rabbit hole and was in the wrong place at the wrong time when Hal checked where they were.
While the latter is possible, given that the excuse does not match with what happened, I'm going to go with theory 1.
If the former happened, I'm sorry HH. I'm sure another user will give you instructions on how to hide your activity.
If the latter happened, I'm even more sorry.
