I don't understand why you are quoting me in saying this.

hal and tommy both feel towny to me? tommys advice post just now is super helpful and is definitely something to keep in mind so im interested to see why hal feels like its anti town? (especially since hal made similar newbie-directed advice posts last game) i dont really agree with the idea of tommy pointing out the modspewing being like just for town cred or some big play because of just how casual it was. hal pushing it feels towny because hes at least creating discussion and the way his messages read just comes across very genuine and i think itd be hard to fake those in the moment reactions.Psypsypsypsypsythe did you have any thoughts so far?
it's obvious to everyone why setting public expectations to new players around how to approach nightkills is antitown though, i feel? like, you can't say to people, "hey if someone you think is town doesn't get killed just fucking merc them day 3"?
no, i get that you don't believe in the tommy wagon. i'm not asking you to share my faith, only your vote.Where I'm at right now is that ultimately I want to follow your lead, but I'm horribly confused by where you're taking me. I feel like you are getting frustrated and resigned because I'm not gung ho in this with you. I mean yes that post is bad now that its in the thread, but I also think Tommy believes what he said. iirc he posted something similar in the spec chat the other day.
Ftr it's a very real possibility hal is trying to set himself up to power wolf rn but that being said I don't want me to get voted today and town hal to get voted tomorrow and for us all to be just gigafucked so, just throwing out the universe that it's a possibility but I don't want to thunderdome hal today either

i'm sure he does. i'm sure he doesn't just spend all day thinking about me.Did you have thoughts on anybody besides hal?
ohwhy do you want to follow Hal's lead, is he town to you? why?
ohi'm sure he does. i'm sure he doesn't just spend all day thinking about me.

when i start getting resigned i'll let you know. it's page 10. i'm still feeling good. thank you for the therapy which started on page 9 where you were talking about my mindset and my fear of losing as town again. i am glad that this therapy has extended into page 10.
I do think hal is probably town because I think his shift in play this game makes sense in the context of last game.
antitown isn't alignment indicative. it's just bad for town. i think it's bad for town to set expectations around how to analyze nightkills. this is different from talking shit in spec chat, where you're around people you've played dozens of games with. this is a public instructive post for newcomers given to them day 1, before mafia makes their choice of kill.
Is shift in play to you something tends to not do when they switch alignments?
he was town last game why would you expect him to have the same performance as mafia as his last town game?
Do you want the good or bad news m2h
I dont can you explain plzI think I understand what he's doing.
good news: you no longer are 100 percent easily identifiable based on 3 posts

Vote M2H
