Saharaja's Pokedex entries, for inspiration:

Saharaja, the Grand Vizier Pokémon

Sword: Its brilliant blue gems, which contain water, have made it a favorite of desert royalty. It spits upon those it deems unworthy to be in its presence.

Shield: Particularly petty rulers would "gift" a Saharaja to their enemies, its high expenses and grating pompousness bringing them to ruin and bankruptcy.

Legal Pokedex submissions must meet the following standards
  • Species Names cannot be over 13 characters.
  • Pokedex entries submitted must have flawless grammar. The CAP mod team will make an effort to correct all issues that are unambiguous when the thread is closed, but you should not rely on this.
  • Pokedex Entries cannot be longer than 32 words and cannot be over 156 characters (this includes spaces and punctuation).
  • Pokedex Entries can only contain the following characters:
    • Letters A-Z
    • Numbers 0-9
    • Dash (-)
    • Apostrophe (')
    • Double quote (")
    • Period (.)
    • Exclamation point (!)
    • Comma (,)
    • Colon (:)
    • Semi-colon (;)
    • Space
Work In Progress (WIP) Pokedex Entries can be posted at any time for comments from the community.

No more than three WIP Pokedex Entries can be posted by any individual person through the entire course of the submission thread. This limit applies to ALL posts made by a single person, even if previous posts are edited or deleted. This limit is intended to curb the tendency for some submitters to spam the thread repeatedly with multiple Pokedex Entries. This detracts from other submissions and makes it difficult for commenters to survey the submission thread.

Do not bump your WIP Pokedex Entries by posting them repeatedly, or making minor wording changes. Bumping will result in the disqualification of all Pokedex Entries by the offender. Editing or deleting bump posts will not prevent disqualification.

Only ONE Final Submission can be made per person.

Pokedex entries Final Submissions must posted exactly in the following format and in the following exact order:
  • The first line of the post must have the words "Final Submission" in bold on its own line. No other text may be included before the bold heading.
  • A blank line
  • "<Pokémon Name>, the <Species Name> Pokémon", with the Pokemon name and the Species Name in bold
  • A blank line
  • The Sword Pokedex Entry submission. Start with the letters "Sword" in bold, then a colon (:), and then the Pokedex entry.
  • A blank line
  • The Shield Pokedex Entry submission. Start with the letters "Shield" in bold, then a colon (:), and then the Pokedex entry.
Below the Final Submission you can post other comments, explanations, etc.

Example final submission:

Final Submission

Dragapult
, the Stealth Pokémon

Sword: When it isn't battling, it keeps Dreepy in the holes on its horns. Once a fight starts, it launches the Dreepy like supersonic missiles.

Shield: Apparently the Dreepy inside Dragapult's horns eagerly look forward to being launched out at Mach speeds.

Any Final Submission that does not follow the proper format will be disqualified.

Final Submission

Saharascal,
the Vagabond Pokémon

Sword: Out of desperation, it steals food from travelers and stores it in its mound of sand. It dreams of stealing jewels, but can't due to its lack of skill.

Shield: It's often picked on by other Pokémon due to its ragged appearance. Still, Saharascal always keeps its chin up and carries on unbothered.

Saharascal
, the Ragamuffin Pokémon

Sword: It is well known for playing pranks. Its favorite prank is to take an item and hide it by burying it in the dirt.

Shield: Saharascal is considered somewhat difficult to raise. Its homely cuteness belies a very mischievous temperament.

Final Submission

Saharascal,
the Nomad Pokémon

Sword: Often trod upon by other Pokémon for their ragged appearance and boisterous personality, Saharascal are often forced to live a lonely nomadic life.

Shield: The mound on it's back stores water, allowing it to live without access to it for long periods of time. Over time, the water in this mound will crystalize.

Saharascal
, the Urchin Pokémon

Saharascal
, the Vagabond Pokémon

Sword: It distracts larger opponents by walking with an unsteady gait to feign weakness, then kicks a cloud of sand into the eyes of its foes before escaping.

Shield: When they are old enough to walk, Saharascal are left to fend for themselves in harsh desert environments. This causes them to develop a crafty personality.

Saharascal,
the Street Urchin Pokemon

Sword: This Pokemon is both intelligent and mischievous. It has been observed stealing money from Trainers, then exchanging that money with shopkeepers for Berries.

Shield: Many Trainers dislike this Pokemon's capricious personality. If treated with genuine respect, however, Saharascal will become an invaluably loyal partner.

Final Submission

Saharascal
, the Riffraff Pokémon

Sword: A Saharascal’s unkempt, matted fur is caked with countless layers of dust. Be sure to wash your hands after petting one!

Shield: This desert dweller wanders into cities to scrounge for food. It is prone to snatching up shiny trinkets, though it will always return them out of guilt.

I was debating on whether to sub here, but I ended up getting some cute ideas so ye

Final Submission

Saharascal
, the Scamp Pokémon

Sword: The sand within it's hump contains a unique kind of chemical formula that makes other Pokémon want to get it at all costs.

Shield: Rarely travelling in herds, a Saharascal can often be seen stealing gold from other people in a futile attempt to be recognized.

Final Submission

Saharascal
, the Ragamuffin Pokémon

Sword: It is well known for playing pranks. Its favorite prank is to take an item and hide it by burying it in the dirt.

Shield: Saharascal is considered somewhat difficult to raise. Its homely cuteness belies a very mischievous temperament.

Final Submission

Saharascal
, the Spit-Take Pokémon

Sword: A Saharascal’s spit serves two consecutive functions: first, to stun affluent tourists, and, second, to brightly polish the jewels it steals from them.

Shield: After it is washed, untangled, and thoroughly combed through, a Saharascal’s fur has the sheen and consistency of fine sand.
