This is not the extent to which you can read a newer player, and in fact is a pretty poor way IMO. It caps the extent to which you can consider the newbie to be a useful member of the town before they're scum, which damns them if they do or don't
sorry was genuinely afk. I think that like genuinely what you said is true tho. I don’t wanna ruin a good thing, too many people scumread me ordinarily as town I feel like, so I’m definitely feeling predisposed to not bring attention to someone calling me town/thanking them for doing so

in the event that tommy is not mafia, its important to watch out others operate around him. people might try to suck up to tommy or deliberately do things to get him on their side in order to be given a good role that will help their team. this of course does matter if tommy is actually mafia himself but the interactions he has with people are important to read
