Ehhh. The opener could come from either alignment. At best, my read of them was that their alignment was null.
With that being said, I think insisting that you're scum faction and feigning ignorance with "Huh?" when people comment on your behaviour is kind of not helpful to town whatsoever so I'm fine with pressuring this slot more. Maybe it's just because they're new but I don't really understand it either way.
