NOC Two Mafias Mafia - Won by The Pack

Turns out this game is less “full of town” than I first thought, but activity roughly correlates with towniness rn. Which is a scary gamestate especially when readstate has been fairly frozen so maybe I’m just wrong, but all the scumreads are for legitimate reasons as are all the townreads. Immobile gamestate means they’re not as developed of reads as I’d like for mid D2 but it’s where we’re at

That’s. Not in this game. LOL. That role would be super broken because it “prevents” scum from hiding in the vanilla pool. If there’s 3 vanillas that literally means any given scum faction cannot win because the best they can bring it to is 3v2 half the time (depending on number of successful kills which is super inconsistent in multifac, far more so with an extra PGO and double vig who probably dies only firing one off since it’s publicly announced and also might never get unlocked). On the other hand if they do try and hide in the vanilla pool, optimal play is always for town to vote only in the vanilla pool to get 3 clears, at which point the first hand happens anyway.
 
Like this setup is actually very swingy already based on what we know about it but this would be the strongest role yet.

Voting Psy out to get 3 conftowns though? On top of our Innocent Child? Mechanically worth it. We literally just win.
 
Just throwing it out there, do we actually think IPL / pulsar is a 50/50?

Town tracker is basically a cop 50% of the time at game start, becoming 66% and then 100% as scum die (bc remaining member of faction gets forced to carry the kill). I don’t think town has two cops.

Plus, tracker has real value for scum because they can see if someone’s got an ability or not. And if they target opposing scum carrying the kill it’s a cop anyway. Regular cop also has value for scum but less so, I’m unconvinced scumteams need to worry that much over whether they’re killing or voting town or scum usually.

realiti I think you should claim. Or you otherwise need to explain to me why Celever is lying and actually crossfired and shot bgb.

4 vanilla town seems extremely weak to me. we almost certainly have one more backup or voting role so it's realiti or the VT lying about their claim. I suppose ipl town is possible. The last sec zippy vote into the not immediately claiming track result just doesn't line up to me.

psy has been playing so bad this game i honestly think he might be mafia. i'm serious about that. why did psy claim unprompted in #190? has psy ever done something like that as a more traditional mafia player?

digression: did ipl vote zippy last second to save AF? I'm kind of toying with that thought.

Going back through to commit sheet now that I have a mental state.
Assuming this is towniest of the choices on the left to scummiest on the right, but this feels weird to put on the sheet properly because to me it reads like it's within the PoE or whatever the gooder words for it are.

Still need a bit of clarification for like where the line is for this towniest to scummiest rating of the VT claims because now that I look further that is what's being ranked

Yeah I'll just assume the reads are me and toaster town, HH null, LS and psy scum cause 2/1/2 feels nice
 
Also I just came to the realization that Paranoid Gun Owner is just fancy speak for "a crazed gunman" which means that Celever is not Sniper TF2 and thus is not Australian.

i like fairy+psy as a scumteam, if fairy isn't BGB's partner which considering the point you made w the last second vote seems more likely than i ahd thought, then psy is definitely the correct vote out of the two right. like that just gives so much more information and we can take out fairy whenever - in fact probably the best of both worlds approach is to have a vig shoot fairy and then everything is awesome, if we do have a vig.

the only reason to vote fairy tonight is if fairy-bgb is the pairing. that seems less likely than before.
