It may also be a bonus vote. Yes it is almost certainly village and that makes me more inclined to sheep it all else being equal.

That being said I don’t wanna go down this rabbit hole much. What’re your thoughts on AG vs Pulsar?

This wording was ambiguous, let me be clearer. I was hesitant about voting pulsar because I thought mafia was pivoting after AG wagon gained the lead but if AG isn't scum then that momentum is more natural, if imo misguided. I still have a pretty null read on her but the wagonomics arguments have just evaporated for me imo.

no, you can have the host announce anything for you, you just send text.

For example, if AG were the announcer, he could have had the host announce "hi I'm AG and I'm the announcer" :blobglare:

Announcer usually can just send any kind of message through the host but sometimes it has vote power depending on the design. It's very often a town role cause it's filler but I have extremely rarely seen sum announcers iirc

this is why I immediately asked IPL for a votecount and the bonus vote wouldn't be invisible, so it's not a bonus vote, I think

my favourite setup I ever designed had a scum announcer!

it was on PokéBeach but yeah, it's rarer on scum but partly due to that I'm not jumping off AG rn
 
Eh it's enough for me, with how small this game is I don't think there's room for a scum announcer and I wasn't super confident on AG anyway, that vote was 60% motivated by wagonomics for me
 
the way I see it, the announcer is either:

a bonus vote (disclaimer: the bonus vote is invisible and doesn't show up on votecounts, which is incredibly unorthodox and would have to get revealed at EoD at aboslute minimum)
OR
the announcer is a regular announcer and there's no reason AG wouldn't say "hi I'm AG, the announcer".
