NOC Smogon Mafia Mafia (Won by the Mafia)

i ISO'd jalmont to see how "out of place" that rostam callout was and it's definitely the most breadcrumby of all of jalmont's stuff to the point where the other posts just seem reactive/readposting

NGL I have way too many town. Is scum really just in everyone who isn't town?

There aren't that many scum in this setup, and imo they haven't been acting coordinated or I'd have been seeing signs of it by now, so that pushes things more into PoE for me. What I do see is a lot of people independently reading or not reading the thread and shooting from the hip.

4 is a decent amount imo but I agree with the rest of your post

I have no idea how UncleSam keeps getting away with this. This is one of at least three times where he has made a read based on incorrect information, been immediately corrected, and not updated his read based on the correction; e.g., he townread Neon for making a sheet (he always makes sheets), scumread fairy for not giving any reads (she did give reads), and now he scumreads AG for activating mayor when he was not in danger of being voted (he was). The malicious interpretation is that he is making reads that he doesn’t have to stand by because they are based on faulty premises. Do you still scumread fairy/AG?
Question, do you read past games, it seems you know some Meta about some players

TOWN
Blazade skipper Neon AG Ehmcee (off role claim)

That leaves Celever, pulsar, fairy, Rostam, tiger, Sam, Zippy
curious why Blazade is now town and I'm in "the rest", last time you commented on us it was both of us moving to town IIRC

anyway I'll be active around deadline, this day is still pretty basic and slow, I think Rostam's points about Sam are cogent though I kinda back them

there basically isn't a way that Rostam doesn't get voted out today, but I feel in my bones that Rostam is getting framed here. I think JALMONT's Rostam read was memorable because it was the first read of the game he gave and it was against the grain p hard, so I think a scum team shooting JALMONT to frame the newbie is a play that quite a lot of scumteams in this game would do anyway tbh. and then the role was martyr and they basically got 7s on the slots.

I think it's apparent that most people, scum included, didn't even notice Jalmont's post until I pointed it out. Even I didn't notice until I looked back at the beginning of D2. If I'm wrong I'm prepared to face any scrutiny for it, but I stand by my read of the situation.

I also think it's apparent that Rostam fits the profile of a likely mafia player based on the game flow, he's active and reading the thread but slightly careful in his posting style.

TBF, if it was an intentional frame and you're town, optimal play is to feign not remembering the read's existence once it's brought up by you because it distances the scum players from the act of framing Rostam (once Rostam flips town if that happens). I did remember the post TBH, I didn't remember that Rostam's name was specifically bolded or anything, but I hard mentally noted that JALMONT scumread Rostam out of the blue toward EoD.

I mean I'm more partial to this but there are definitely scummier players in the game that could be voted. Rostam I could see being scum based on posting style especially because there was a great D1 entrance and then quality and quantity of content has sort of gradually declined (though again, I actually like their most recent posts here).

Basically I think you're the only one who, as scum, would think of the Jalmont kill as a frame on Rostam in this spot (because I know you and I have differing logic on such things). Like, it's such a weird line. Rostam wouldn't exactly be in danger of being lynched because I wouldn't really believe that scum Rostan kills Jalmont for being the one guy to cast side eye on them, it's basically only a martyr flip that would convince me and no one would have known that.

Again, it comes back to probabilities. You're treating the Jalmont kill like this "standard" line and then the martyr flip is them getting lucky. I'm just not seeing it.

Who do you think is scummier in a vacuum and why?
