ok apparently mafia just cant nk at all while using any action in this setup, i have been corrected and was wrong apologies all town members (but not mafia im coming for you)

i think he wasnt solving very hard, then the way he dealt with my initial read on him was kinda bad as if he didnt want to actually confront it saying it wasnt real but felt like he had to say something

then i think his interactions with joey are also bad because i think joeys reads make perfect sense and celever went to "omgus?" which is worst on the best of days from someone experienced like celever, but even worse given joeys lack of experience relative to how well hes explaining his reads, its so level 1

TBF I will say I assumed this isn't like joey's first game and his posting def seems to imply this further

I genuinely didn't think your initial read was real cos you haven't substantiated it with much, I mean everything you've talked about here is after that initial read so sounds like I was kinda right, besides not solving that hard but that's why I thought it was more of a prod to do something than anything else (and you have played with unsolvy town Celever before and basically done exactly that)

Joey's explanations for his read have consistently ignored parts of my posts LOL

do you think joeys reads on a whole are good or bad for someone who has played one game as 3p?

NightEmerald - I still think the entry is kind of weird, coming in as a new player and immediately placing a vote off of what seems like very little information. Nothing else they've said/done gives me indication of town or scum so I'm just keeping this as a very slight scumlean.

Celever - It seemed weird to me at the beginning that he was making assumptions off of "claims so far" when there were literally no claims. That doesn't necessarily mean scum but it feels to me like he was just making stuff up to sound insightful/involved in the game but not add pro-town content.

pulsar - Feels like pulsar has done a lot of fishing for information and that kind of raises red flags for me. Suggesting a mass claim at the start is the biggest red flag. Then wanting the Friendly Neighbour to expose themself (which, honestly I'm not sure if this is actually a good idea or not so maybe don't count this). Then from there they scumread Laurel and then backpedaled the scumread but wanted to vote Laurel as a "safe vote" instead. I know opinions can change and I'm kind of grasping at a straw with this one but idk just reads weird to me.

Ehmcee - Did not like the thing at the beginning about getting VTs to come out. I feel like any outcome of that happening just puts information into the hands of the mafia that town doesn't really benefit from. And then after that I don't feel like they've really contributed anything. It's early and I probably need to see more posts from them but this is where they are in my mind for now.

mainly basing my answer off this post cos looking at the ISO joey's content has been about literally only me since this post 7 hours ago, I don't think these reads are good. every read besides NightEmerald is specifically based on how people are interacting with setup/mechanics which isn't something that most people in the game have seriously done, and he's just scumread everyone for interacting seriously with mechanics at all. NightEmerald reason is bad because NightEmerald (IIRC) talked about playing irl mafia and usually in irl mafia you do just throw accusations out early as a bit of a meme. RVS exists for a reason and it also exists in both styles of the game.

basically joey's not actually reading in the way a regular mafia player should, which on reflection does probably demonstrate the newbie status but even so there's a slight lack of depth here.

in fact, its debatably the worst role

that being said, the better way to tell is see if 4 people actually voted him so just if you voted celver let us know i guess!
