The wolf is probably someone who needs to survive until they are at parity with another faction (i.e. they need to be one of two players left alive). They also might need that other player to be town.

Wolf can mean a lot of things though and only the wolf is supposed to know their win condition. We can only discover their win condition when they die, and at that point we’ve already erased the threat lol
