Do Magician/Pickpocket mons steal items on the turn that their items are used? For example, if my Normal Gem Weavile uses up its Gem while Faking Out an opponent, does it steal the opponent's item on the turn of the Fake Out or would I have to use another move like Knock Off after that to take it?

It would probably see more usage if there existed a special version of Facade; otherwise, it's vastly outclassed by better options.
