Finally got my shiny Chikorita after some 200 eggs, it hatched from the 10 first eggs I got after tipping some 10ks to Kiloude City poet. I hadn't had any shiny before since I had the Charm. This might of course be odds, but this is rather intriguing.

My brother also always tips, whereas I never tip. We got the charm at the same moment and he already hatched 4 shinies (3 Yamask and 1 Chimchar). He thinks maybe Ditto has to do with this since all shiny Yamask were hatched very fast with 2 Yamask parents (2 shinies out of the 25 first eggs)...

Wow, is this serious ? Been masuding like 1k eggs since I got the charms and no shiny. Did you use Ditto ? Do you tip a lot ?

I have already hatched a bunch of eggs since I got the Shiny Charm but no Shiny. I'm going to hatch some 1k eggs and report later. 400 Eggs : 1 Shiny
