Dang I also saw a Snorlax with Giga Impact. Maybe its just me but I havent seen many Giga Impact/Hyper Beam users in competitive. Does the Z-move negate the cooldown after you use it?

I'm having some really stupid bad luck on disconnects too. Over half of my opponents seem like new players and have disconnected so I've been stuck at 1,500-ish points for like 5 battles now.... You don't get any points for opponents disconnecting. And even if they punish those players it still...

I tried running Scarf Gengar after seeing the post and I really love him. No one expects it, its the dark horse of the team. However I am having trouble finding good team mates with synergy for him. Any suggestions? You have much more experience than me.
