Fidgit's ability Persistent doesn't work on Trick Room. Isn't it supposed to?

uh, i did try it in doubles. it still didnt work the way you said it would. i keep trying. has anyone else gotten it to work?

guys symbiosis just wont activate i have tried at least 10 times with different items. is this a bug? ive heard people say it activates on PS but it just wont work for me. maybe this doesnt count as a bug, but i just want my florges/sawk idea to take fruition.
