I'd have to disagree. In double battles, counters to a certain Pokemon a always there. The amount of switching is actually increased, as each partner needs to cover up the resistants the opponent has, defensively, in a double battle, Pokemon cannot cover for each other as well as it is 2v2...

WOW! I am a total rain dance freak too. It's my favorite type out of all. I typically run an offensive. And I have to agree on the whole Ludicolo and Quilfish thing. Surprisingly, Ludicolo can take on Blissey pretty well, it is not toally walled and isn't really affected my paralysis that much...
