If I trade pokemon like machoke to pokemon ranch and back to platinum, will it evolve into machamp or no?

If I already EV trained all my pokemon, but Im kind of lazy to train them to 100, would rare candying them weaken them opposed to a self trained pokemon?

Do you think I should transfer my team and pokemon over to HG when I get it to wifi battle? Or should I stick with my trusty platinum? I kind of like the sprites and interface better in platinum, but idk. s;
