Agreed. The most likely killer of Salemence would probably be mamoswine in my opinion. Mamoswine with max sp.def and 100 HP EVs can survive a draco meteor from a life orb or choice specs mence and KO it with Ice Shard within on to two hits.

My Starptor, Shiny Metagross, and Infernape just go single handidly owned by a starmie. I would have won but I had to switch to gross -_- Anyway, the first challenges are somewhat easy. Also, always lead with infernape timid or jolly. All sub-punchers sucumb to it, mainly kanghaskan.
