  1. Slurpuff [QC REJECT 1/3]

Can I help or give this a try? I've had a lot of success with slurpuff myself, specifically a red card set.
  2. Gengarite Tiering Discussion [read post #383]

Mega Gengar's skillset is a little too good to have Shadow Tag alongside it. Even though the trapping moves are nerfed, Gengar can transform&revenge kill a pokemon, or 2hko a switch in easily. Anything trying to counter it with sucker punch can be shut down by taunt, Destiny Bond and Gengar's...
  3. Pokémon Slurpuff

Slurpuff @ Red Card Ability: Unburden EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef Modest Nature - Cotton Guard - Calm Mind - Draining Kiss - Thief This set at the very least causes your opponent a world of problems. If you can use it well. I don't really bother with the speed evs. Most things that still...
  4. Pokémon Trevenant

Trevenant @ Kee Berry Ability: Harvest EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk Bold Nature - Calm Mind - Leech Seed - Will-O-Wisp - Energy Ball Kee + Calm mind gives it a method of boosting defense and special defense at the same time where otherwise it would have no defense boost.. I'm pretty sure this...
  5. Pokémon Slurpuff

Slurpuff can run unburden + red card pretty well, allowing it to get rid of potential counters and gain another free turn of setup.
  6. Pokémon Barbaracle

Seeing as it gets Pickpocket (aparently) it has a surprising amount of synergy with a white herb shell smash set (use the herb up, then steal an item from the opponent). Whether that's actually worth the drop in damage from tough claws remains to be seen though.
  7. Move Magnetic Flux

The only possible users in a competitive environment are Ampharos, Klinklang and Manetric. Even then, it prevents Manetric from mega evolving on the first turn. Ampharos and Klinklang in doubles has some potential though. Ampharos is reasonably strong with its mega evo and can buff Klinklang...
  8. Pokémon Furfrou

A toxic stall set is workable. After one cotton guard its virtually immune to physical attacks. Shame Snarl is its only answer to special attackers.
  9. Pokémon Clawitzer

Why is anyone complaining that Clawitzer is bad because it has the same niche as Mega Blastoise when the latter takes up a mega slot on your team which another mega could fill better. Not to mention, Mega Blastoise trades its item for a Mega Stone. Clawitzer actually outclasses Mega Blastoise...
  10. Pokémon Togekiss

Togekiss can run Tailwind in a way similar to Agility on Metagross, with the benefit of not being removable by switches, etc. like Agility is. That way you can focus on bulk and outspeed everything in the tier at the same time. Seeing as Togekiss is able to switch in completely safely on ground...
  11. Pokémon The Best Fairy Pokemon?

Slurpuff. With Calm Mind, Cotton Guard and Unburden, Slurpuff is a sleeper threat. It also has great attacking coverage in its movepool and about every support move you could want. I'm hesitant to call it better than Togekiss or Whimsicott but so far its been the best Fairy for my team.
  12. Pokémon Smeargle

Grassy Terrain and Misty Terrain are good choices as well. Grassy Terrain being the best, it provides leftovers recovery to your pokemon and boosts grass moves. The list of pokemon that get the move is actually pretty bad, and considering Smeargle can run it alongside other moves its worth a...
  13. Pokémon Crobat

As a response to Psylink: Noivern's typing also lands it with 2 more weaknesses than Crobat while they both have the same number of resistances. Crobat has access to Haze, arguably one of the best status moves in the game if not rather underused due to being situational (did I mention it will...
  14. Pokémon Crobat

Crobat #169 Poison/Flying 85 HP / 90 Atk / 80 Def / 70 SAtk / 80 SDef / 130 Spd Ability: Inner Focus Hidden Ability: Infiltrator Moves can be found in the research thread (link), though asides from gaining Confide Crobat's moves seem unchanged from last gen. Analysis Crobat has always been...
  15. The CAP Kitchen: Non-Competitive Discussion Goes Here

I think a CAP legendary-style pokemon would be very cool in terms of flavour, but maybe it'd be underwelming to have a pokemon that's legendary and not ubers. Unless we're doing an ubers CAP, haha. Also, a Normal/Steel type. Cyborg themed.
