  1. Project OU Next Best Thing: Cycle 6 - Clefable (Submissions)

Mixed Shift Gear, as I've used this myself since release and it cleans exceptionally good - the current rise of Scarf Dragapult hurts it, though.
  2. Metagame SS OU Metagame Discussion v2 [Usage Stats in post #581]

Heat Crash loses against Bulk Up Corviknight and takes damage from Ferrothorn, which makes Fire Blast the better option as long as you have 3 Moveslots for damaging attacks.
  3. Metagame SS OU Metagame Discussion v2 [Usage Stats in post #581]

I like this one: Coalossal @ Heavy-Duty Boots Ability: Flash Fire EVs: 252 HP / 108 Atk / 8 Def / 140 SpD Sassy Nature - Stone Edge - Fire Blast - Heavy Slam - Stealth Rock Spread is to turn LO Clefable's Thunderbolt into a 4HKO and to 3HKO a Hex-Dragapult with Leftovers; Heavy Slam...
  4. Metagame SS OU Metagame Discussion (Usage stats in post #944)

I'm using a 248 HP / 208 SDef Careful Corviknight, the Bulk Up Version, which, unless Hatt dynamaxes, wins the match-up, as Hatt has to use Mystical Fire early, else, it gets swept, but if it does, it gets swept too.
  5. Metagame SS OU Metagame Discussion (Usage stats in post #944)

Mirror Armor Corviknight bounces back the SpA-drop, since it's faster than Hatt, it stalls it out.
  6. Pokémon Coalossal

I think that it's got a place in OU if solely for being a Fire Type as those are so rare in this Metagame. A special version with a Fire Move and Earth Power is a good switch-in against Aegislash and Corviknight which are really common, while Corsola-Galar can't lower its SAtk and Toxapex risks...
  7. Pokémon Toxtricity

Boomburst over Sludge Bomb, as to hit Grounds for neutral damage and have a second option to activate Throat Spray. I've had great success with that set, way to go, imo.
  8. Metagame SS OU Metagame Discussion (Usage stats in post #944)

Assault Vest Cursola with Giga Drain/SDef Utility Corsola with Strength Sap. Goodra, Still. AV Dracozolt/-vish.
  9. Pokémon Coalossal

If that's paired with the likes of Tyranitar or a screen setter, it's pretty much guaranteed that it lives through a super effective attack. I've used Rock Polish on mine since it's really bulky even with the Water type in Sand and behind screens (then, what isn't, but if one wants to make this...
  10. Pokémon Grimmsnarl

I've been using Sucker Punch/Double Screens/Thunder Wave as a dead stop to anything Dynamaxing while simultaneously providing me ways to set up. Great utility, there.
  11. Pokémon Coalossal

Just a heads-up that you can use Body Press while Dynamaxed to raise your Attack. I've played Tyranitar, Double Screens from Grimmsnarl and a Passho Berry to secure living through a Water Attack. It's still on the weak side, offensively, but with Sandstorm and Screens, it's bulky enough to get...
  12. SPOILERS! Pokemon Sword and Shield Datamine Thread

I tried a Dynamax-Set of Sludge Bomb, Thunderbolt, Fire Punch and Shift Gear. Gets the SpA boost and the terrain, Fire Punch is mainly for Ferrothorn and friends. Worked fine, played it with Aurora Veil, status immunities are nice and if it's not a Ground attack you're facing, it gets the...
  13. SPOILERS! Pokemon Sword and Shield Datamine Thread

We just have to adjust. I tried Bulky Offense and yeah, it gets overrun by Dynamax. But there's still Archetypes (speed boost by Weather, Hyper Offense with fast Scarfers and so on) - Red Card is a dead stop to everything Dynamaxed after the three turns, Cursola and stuff were pretty much built...
  14. SPOILERS! Pokemon Sword and Shield Datamine Thread

I've played some matches on the Nexus server with an Aurora Veil team around Dynamax Toxtricity, featuring Weezing-G and Corviknight among others; more or less a renewed version of my old Volcarona Veil team which peaked somewhere Top50. I'm under the impression that Dynamaxing fundamentally...
  15. SPOILERS! Pokemon Sword and Shield Datamine Thread

I've played [Ninetales-A & Tapu Fini & Volcarona Setup] for the whole duration of Gen7. Since Ninetales-A makes a comeback and Weezing-G makes a fine substitute for Tapu Fini (while Corviknight makes a defogging Celesteela, albeit without the offensive danger posed), I find myself looking for a...
