It's still a prediction game with Absol b/c even with magic bounce, opponents can boost their stats, if one chooses to spam sucker punch early. however, absol might just be forced to use sucker punch on the first turn in which it mega-evolves. if i understand the mechanics correctly, sucker...

could payback be of use? since you start off with absol's speed, you'd mega evolve after your opponent hits you (hopefully u'll live), then you mega evolve and hit with a boosted payback (stronger than a sucker punch or night slash minus the critical hit ratio)

maybe a bulky set using assault vest. i think it can go just on the offense with its moveset 252 hp/ 252 def or spd and corresponding def or spD boosting nature. assault vest superpower night slash psycho cut foul play yes, no recovery but it should be able to take a few hits...

i read the analysis for roselia. what do you guys think of switching over to a defense-boosting nature and maximizing defense instead. 252HP/252 Def. I mean, like this it would only be slightly less specially defensive than roserade. i see it useful against breloom and many fighting types.
