Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Mamoswine could screw this team over.
Aerodactyl: Just asking for an Ice Shard or Avalanche.
Dialga: Earthquake Fodder.
Giratina: Same as Aerodactyl.
Empoleon: Same as Dialga.
So yeah. I'd make a few changes.
The Protect is mainly for the VGC. The gap between Gengar's Speed and Claydol's Speed allows many Pokemon to screw up Gengar who I'd need later on in the game. There's only 4 Pokemon allowed so I need to keep Gengar alive.
Pretty much: Protect keeps the team going.
TEAM OVERVIEW
SUMMARY
Phew. That's all I can say. Building a team is generally hard enough but the hardness was just boosted by applying the TF2 classes to the Pokemon. Still, despite being challenging it was a very fun experience. So I had better get started with reviewing each team...
I started this as NU, but I'm making changes so I can keep it mostly NU/UU, while still being effective.
Yeah, a Streamer would be useful. Also, should I get a Hitmontop Rapid Spinner over Snadslash?
I read that if you deposit 1499 Pokemon into the GameCube game (Can you call it that?) Pokemon Box, you get a Pichu that knows Surf. Is this true, as the site I was on said it was unconfirmed.
Now, if I was re-making this team, possibly adding in UU Pokemon as I go, I'd definitely keep:
Shuckle: Better Special defensive capabilities than Cresselia, and about as good defensively as Forretress. He's a wall.
Medicham: It's him or a Thick Club Marowak. And Marowak has piss-poor coverage.
I'll update in a minute with EV's.
Yeah, I assume, even milking the best out of NU, that an OU team could beat it. It holds its own in UU, really, but I'm not too sure, on reflection, that it will really cut it in OU.
Well, I noticed that there was some pretty good stuff in NU, so I took a blast at making a team based around NU.
The Team
Shuckle: The Opener
Ability: Gluttony
Item: Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP, 208 Def, 48 SpD
Nature: Sassy

Having Shuckle as a lead...
I was looking up Clefable's movesets... And I noticed a big error. It appeared constantly, and I was surprised nobody noticed. It is... Magic Guard and Softboiled.
Well, sure, first thing you say is "How the hell is that a problem?", and I understand if you're confused. Well, Clefable can only...
