I personally feel with charizard having a 10% usage rate, Chansey will inevitably become irrelevant and be replaced.

To me primarily the game revolves around team construction. Such as Charizard out speeds lead jynx, and covers Gengar with earthquake so, I lead Charizard and then go Venusaur for sleep round 2, and Blastoise/Raichu behind depending on if I'm looking to freeze or thunder wave. Then like Tauros...
